I have owned gasoline direct injection turbo motors, my own experience has shown that they are a pain in the ass. Misfires and valve timing errors are one thing, losing 10% power every 12 months is another.

Along with North Dakota, cheap oil is bad for California, Wyoming, Southern Utah, Western Colorado, Northern New Mexico, Texas, Alaska, and all the Gulf States. With oil getting this cheap I’ll guess we’ll go back to buying the Arabs’ oil until prices rebound.
