You’re reliability assumption is off too, the Escalade is essentially a Chevy pickup and not something horrible to maintain like a Land Rover. The liftgate struts will go first, then possibly a window regulator or two but someone will be cruising in that thing at 200,000 miles for sure.

If I'm getting 21 MPG with a stock ride height Ram 1500. Wind resistance is a much bigger factor with my truck compared to a gas F350 getting 12-15 MPG. The bro with his 6" lift and 35" tires with the same Ram 1500 is lucky to pull off anything close to 20 MPG.
