I love 550s and would totally drive that into the ground. I wonder how many miles that engine can take.

I grew up with a Camaro Z28 as our family car, this tape was the only tape ever played in the casette player. It's amazing that Billy Joel still sounds so good, especially in concert.

Every day it eats at you, that little part of your brain that tells you that you are not happy unless you are flying.

For sure, you probably wouldn't kill yourself but destroying your equipment is quite expensive.

Get a sports pilot's license, and buy one of these:

In the US no license is required unless you want to take a passenger. If you have nowhere to go and just want to fly, para-motoring is ridiculously enjoyable and easy to do if you can restrict your flights to smooth air.

A tax refund is covering the cost for this one which is a lightly used Quad Paramotor with good-sized motor, reserve chute, gliding harness, and a new wing for $6,600. I just want something low and slow, that I can enjoy in the desert.

I'm picking up my paraglider this weekend, I won't be trying this.

?w=650Are you required to take a defensive driving class to obtain your new state driver's license? No, then you do not have bad drivers in your city or state.

That's the thing though, dealers are nothing more than a really expensive lube shop with just enough training on how to remove parts. It's sad that they can't actually fix anything. If you're a Chrysler store why not get involved with Mopar performance, build some cool cars and go racing on the weekend.

The dealership might not be at fault but they certainly aren't providing the service that they advertise. A auto dealership should be able to repair the vehicles that they sell. When a dealer can only bolt and unbolt parts they run a wasteful business that turns away customers and hurts the automaker.

Do you not know how eBay works? A seller has the option of setting a reserve price for the auction, I'm assuming the reserve $300,000 but the starting bid is $20,000.

They do fly too damn fast for weight-shift control. The whole concept of controlling one depends on gravity. I can easily think of a number of negative G situations flying a Cessna that would cause a loss of control in a trike. Sorry about your friend.

Starting at 20K!

I'm seriously thinking about using a tax refund to purchase a quad paramotor for our desert lake bed camping trips. Flying low and slow is so much fun and it's nice not burning 8 gph of $6 a gallon of aviation fuel.

Turbo model, not so slow. High 6 sec/low 7 sec 0-60.

BMWs are a fun combination of superb German engineering combined with bullshit shortcuts. People are already paying more for a BMW, why not just include sufficient engineering solutions that don't require these stupid BMW repairs?

That might worth a lease if gas prices come back up.
