Trying to figure out why even the title wasn’t enough to hide the fact that it was Seven Nation Army.  Why was that so obvious?

First one I remember was from Demon’s Souls, not even Dark Souls.

The videos are pointing out that what you think is an escape is still very political.  You just aren’t used to it.

They were some of the best games around but they weren’t worth the standard $25 they all went for. I got each one on sale as well because I knew at the end they would release every episode together.

Really disappointing. I was looking forward to The Wolf Among Us Season 2 more than most other titles. It was such a great title and really made me love the genre (if I can call it that) after The Walking Dead was first released.

I’m really excited.

It was one of the best games released on the PS1 and remains a staple of horror games. It combined the terror of Resident Evil’s inventory management with a bit more action. Resident Evil 3: Nemesis had far more action and it showed, and wasn’t really as memorable for that reason (I’ll assert).

Does Japan even do something for a 16th birthday?

Someone else summed it up best: jump scares are to horror what tickling is to a comedian.  Yeah, you’re laughing, but that’s not what good comedy is.

Blinders up, right?

At least give us the ability to type our age.  Clicking everything is cumbersome but if I could just write the date with keys then it’d be fine.

It’s also telling that sex workers are cast aside in this narrative.

I played for a few days when it was free and it felt like if Pixar released World of Warcraft back in 2004 instead.

My interest is always piqued when people describe FPS titles as “slow”. My favorite online FPS experience ever, and to this day, is Killzone 2 and 3.  It was slow but rewarding, and allowed for a more tactical approach.  Twitch was good and fast reflexes nice but you had to become a better player in general to really

You’re saying “consistent development” like that’s a good thing; it’s exactly the problem.

So much effort into making things people can’t have. This is such a bizarre approach to gaming. The only explanation is that they’ve seen F2P models and instead of rejecting them or refining them, they think they can remodel them for even more money. This includes setting a precedent where it’s both P2P and monetized

You sort of glossed over it but Frankie Boyle is probably one of my favorite comedians.  I still forget he’s in the game because it just doesn’t clicked.  That’s pretty amazing.  His best material is political in nature but they went mainly with his dark stuff that’s rather ... lame.

God forbid they play some sort of video game to kill the other player and claim the title.

Never attacked his choice of games.  Keep up.

I remember having this sort of experience with 1080 Snowboarding.  My cousin and I were trying to figure out how to play it and land tricks, and it turned out you had to really nail the landing by lining up.  That just hadn’t existed in games before because it was assumed you would get down the mountain.  It was so
