His opinion is bland and not worth hearing. It adds nothing to the discussion other than to be negative.

not the kind of comment worth anyone’s time in the least
MA is so deeply blue that you can really only pit Democrats against Democrats. Even our Republican governor, who’s the most popular I believe, is mostly a Blue Dog Democrat in all but name. The person she’s running against is even more than that.
It’s a game. It’s fiction. If you are offended by some textures in the game, please don’t play the game. Because if we start removing things that hurt someone’s feelings, it will be an empty game, with no people, no weapons, no blood, no humor, no pooping, killing others, eating human flesh, killing animals.
It’s not uncommon for bands to have songs entitled the exact same, so I blew past this after a few seconds of listening. Then it appears on my news feed so I gave it another listen. Still didn’t make the connection.
He actually makes a really good point, and this article frames it like an outright defense of CK.
What do you as a writer imagine CK’s life should be then, from here on out? Like, vividly paint a picture of what one of the best comedians of the past few decades would likely do. Just sort of pick up a job at the local bar? Be unemployed for life?
Yes, it would be, and that’s exactly happening in MA’s 1st with Tahirah Amatul-Wadud. That’s why this move has been seen as cynical and self-serving. She said in one debate that she would vote the same way, but somehow we made a big deal over Colin Kaepernick in 2018 after they both said they agreed with him. Pressley…
Meanwhile, not an article written about Tahirah Amatul-Wadud who actually is running an interesting race.
Genuine question: Pressley was endorsed by Maura Healey, who’s an amazing state attorney general, and the first openly gay one at that (because that counts here), but you went with a Boston Globe endorsement? Why? Arguably press endorsements of the people they should be critical of is something you should advocate…
Do you actually live in Boston, and in this particular district? Are you someone he has to lose?
It benefits a small portion now but it’s being released after a lot of other games which were featured during the RTX demo, like Battlefield V.

Like all those times in Skyrim you were able to become a farmer and beat the game by getting a great harvest in?
Once the technology becomes standard, it won’t need to be asked, but will this game be using RTX? I don’t believe it was announced, and I don’t know enough to know if it would be worth it for them to adopt the tech. I’d imagine it’s more than just using it since it would probably require a lot of things to be redone…
This dangerous need to bury our heads in the sand when it comes to what we publish is disturbing. It’s vital as a society that we learn (at least eventually) about the perpetrator themselves so we can have a discussion about why people do this.
That still affects the story and setting.
Not really, no. A lot of fantasy combines Medieval themes and things but that period lasted 1,000 years or so. So many things are mismatched depending on what’s being presented, and so many other things can be taken from other eras, that’s “Medieval” is just a word you throw out because it describes knights in armor.
I agree that magic tends to overwhelm games, but I’m always more appreciative of it when it has consequences. I liked Dragon Age: Origin’s approach to magic: it was feared by many, it actually was extremely dangerous to use, you had to be born to use it, and mages, while powerful, still couldn’t do too much on their…
Combining her anger about the travel ban with a sexy dating sim was a natural choice for her.
