The fact that you tried trolling me so far back and ended up here pleases me. To no end.

It’s an admission of, “We advertised one thing, didn’t do it.”
Why would you call someone else an asshole after that post?
Right. You think cosmetics for sale is ridiculous, but you’re only upset with the players, not the company.
When they said they’d be including microtransactions, I nearly canceled my order. I didn’t (although I planned to resell it). Their model then was you can buy loot boxes, or you can play. I played. It’s not like Dota where you have to buy them. I’m more than comfortable with that model since it’s not necessary.…
Oh right, I forgot. Businesses can advertise whatever they want as “guesses”.
I played Dota for years. I could go on about how I played Lycan, DP, Undying, and Skywrath years ahead of the curve. Not the point. Those boxes were fine, and Steam had a market.
Who’s saying there’s an issue with loot boxes?
Let me sum it up for you in an easier manner.
People can participate and also complain. In fact, not participating and complaining would be sociopathic.
We were promised additional content. When Blizzard announced that Overwatch wouldn’t be F2P, the community trusted that decision after time. With skepticism, but still. Those stuck to their guns, now Blizzard wants out.
If you buy a furnished apartment, then show up and find out you need to gamble for the furniture or not have it at all, that’s quite different.
Or get involved in the process like Blizzard’s asking. Why is it always feast or famine with people like you? I think it means you quit when you’re pouty.
Overwatch has a price tag.
You’re taking away agency from Blizzard when it’s their system? What sense does that make? You don’t have to care about the skins but to act like Blizzard isn’t imbuing them with value is pretty naive just so you can get upset online.
You’re*.
“Don’t think, consume.”
