No one thinks it’s a bad thing. Most people understand this has nothing to do with that. The same arguments being made against Trans people now were made about gay men years ago. Same shit, different penis.

Doesn’t Doom take place on Mars? Isn’t that already an alien world?

Ahahahaha. Ha.

Okay, but these are the people being put in there. You can’t decouple that. Besides, if you have someone in prison already, how does making them suffer help?

Empathy, yes. I’ve worked on empathizing for some years now and it’s a core concept for me. Sympathy is a bit different but in the same vein.

You mean narrative. I can’t have a dialogue with myself; you need two parties total.

Nice, I like that.

Is Somerville featured prominently? Do you still get ridiculous parking tickets if you log out in the wrong place (everywhere)? I live next to it and my family is from there. From what I hear, it’s a lot safer in Fallout 4 than it was years ago.

The best part about Boston is you get to leave it. A whole planet? Of these people? Of us? Kill me.

Having an opinion like that makes me think at this point, you’re willfully ignorant of the American Justice system.

I try not to be hostile here but Jesus, that’s one of the dumbest comments I’ve ever read. “I’d be okay with being in solitary confinement in a federal penitentiary because I never like living with roommates on the outside in the free world.

Fights and rape occur, but, I don’t think you know what you’re talking about. People who are in solitary go insane. And not uncomfortable, “omg I’m insane”, genuinely insane.

If they’re in solitary confinement, they don’t get to join the rest of the inmates for pizza and ice cream movie night, which of course, is every night.

The guy calling Riot hypocrites (which is incorrect) exemplifies the worst: believing that unless you do the right thing at the exact moment in every situation that requires it, you’re a bad person. It’s a belief that’s found all over, and it’s genuinely disgusting. It just serves to hinder others for no reason.

Bragging about the sympathy you don’t have doesn’t seem like a move in the right direction.

I played two matches of the beta and promptly uninstalled it. I didn’t need to see any more. There’s no substitute for playing it yourself and people’s reactions will differ though (yes, some people love it, and the line for it at PAX was somewhat long).

Your comments seem wildly misplaced.

I half expected this to be part of an Aphex Twin video.

Same. They could easily release a video giving contradicting information and have the same thing - which is something they’ve done for articles over the years.

Team YP’s manager has since expressed her disappointment, pointing out that this type of policy creates fewer sponsorship opportunities for players. “While for some, our participation in eSports has been controversial, stopping our players from competing because they are sponsored by us, in spite of Team YP operating
