I’m so glad the market is headed this way. I ordered a Nexus 6P direct from Google.

other times, knowing evil means knowing how to beat it.”

Fingers crossed that cloud saves includes virtual console games and that will sync and work across multiple platforms.

Digital purchases are linked to your account, not the console. My roommate lost his 3DS, and was able to redownload everything on his replacement.

That’s a somewhat valid point. However, things like that are always biased by whoever is picking the clips. Would be nice to have access to the raw debate.

Because it would make too much sense if presidential debates were easily available for all to see.

Age 22, fresh out of college, when I started my first “real” job. They had a 401(k) with a match (one third of up to 6%), so of course I participated, that’s free money! Also, they had an excellent policy where everyone is automatically enrolled at 6%, just enough for the full match, so it took zero effort to get

I won’t deny that there are relatively simple solutions. Hell I believe you that just removing that cap, all by itself, will fix it before I even click that link. But “simple” does not mean congress will actually do it... My confidence in them to do their jobs just keeps going down.

I mostly agree. My experience so far has been that the gameplay can be quite fun (when it works) but everything else about the game is lacking. There aren’t really “collectables” like most Zelda games, just semi-random items at the end of level. No upgrades of any kind to items or health or anything, just costumes

I agree. And 401(k)s are great because of the way they give a lot of people and easy way to get started.

Agreed. I think the “debt” in the chart is referring more to things like credit card debt. Car and home loans are often at reasonable interest rates and its good to get some retirement funds building before paying those off early. (Especially if your dealership gives you 0% on your car, I’m never paying a single cent

I think the idea is the emergency fund prevents you from creating more credit card debt if an emergency arises. However, if you instead pay off debt now, then get more debt in an emergency, you’re debt at this point is the same as if you had gone the emergency fund route. So I would agree that paying off debt could be

After the max IRA, I’m doing about 50/50 with more 401k and a taxable investment account. I don’t have specific plans for buying a house yet, but I know I want to eventually.

Well we can’t have that! Quick, someone say something horrible! The internet is supposed to be a wretched hive of scum and villany.

Agreed, it was a great name. I think part of it to was that it was a verb, being used as a noun. This difference in the part of speach lead to much less confusion than their other generically named products. It was always clear what you meant.

Yes and all those things you can do sounds useful, but much like RevealMenu does, couldn’t all of those things in theory be done with a long press instead of a force touch? Wouldn’t it be just as easy if instead of force-touching to bring up a little menu with some quick actions, you could just do a regular press and

A lot of good points! And thank you for the respect :)

I’ve been trying to figure out how the new force touch actually adds anything beyond what could already be done with a simple press and hold. Every time I try to ask about it, I get something along the lines of “no, its not the same thing!” with no actual explanation as to what it actually adds.

In particular, they “burned through” the name Wave a while ago, which they should have used instead of Hangouts as the name of the current messaging service.

I’m actually particularly mad at the name of Hangouts, because Wave would have been a much better name. Sure it would have created confusion with their dead product (that was cool in its own way, but that’s a separate discussion). But they don’t seem to care about that kind of confusion, and long term it would have
