True, but if that happens I will deal with a comparatively mild inconvenience (call CC company, get charges removed, they send me a new card). If something happens to my phone, there’s a lot more than just my CC info in there. Plus, even if they aren’t up to anything nefarious, my phone is worth hundreds of dollars.

Interesting. Though I wonder how the separate accounts differs, if at all, from what you can do on stick Android. And as of tomorrow, Marshmallow handles app permissions similar to how this phone does.

One of the biggest hurdles will be restaurants. Not only do you hand them your card, but they walk away with it to a back room and come back a few minutes later. I’m not comfortable handing my phone to a stranger for 5 seconds where I can see them, no way will I ever hand my phone over to a waiter.

Mine spins better facedown anyways (Moto X 2014)

I’m expecting them to not have separate ones for each carrier, but one that works on all (and Fi)

I think it’s because they’ve always had the ability to take fingerprints. It’s like if you used your social security number as your password (and had an obvious password hint like “SSN”). You don’t have to tell them your social, but they already have access to that information so they can use it and get in your phone.

Also important if you have something like a smartwatch that keeps your phone unlocked while connected. There are ways to lock it immediately, but the easiest and fastest is probably resetting it. Will work 100% of the time, and doesn’t require thought or looking for any specific setting.

It seems nice, but on top of my dislike of TouchWiz, I can’t justify spending that much on something that comes with last year’s processor. Nothing wrong with a tablet with last year’s processor, but that should help it be reasonably priced. If I’m going to spend $400 or more, I want the this year’s power.

This. Apple is way worse at this stuff. You can’t investigate Google but say Apple is fine.

It’s something I’m really interested in so always happy to talk about it. Either the other person is gonna find it interesting and it will increase our social relationship, or they’ll think it’s lame and think less of me for it. But if it’s the latter, we wouldn’t have gotten along anyways if they’re going to be so

Anyone know why the charging docks aren’t interchangeable? Supposedly first gen dock can’t charge the second gen watch, and the second gen dock can’t charge the first gen watch. The first gen watch is Qi, and I’ve charged mine on a Qi charging pad that I have it works just fine. Is the new on not Qi? I haven’t

Too much bezel on the ZenWatch in my opinion, but you can’t be their price. Even the new ZenWatch 2 is under $200 if I remember correctly.

Oh wow really? Mine has aan inconsequential crack on the back (due to my own stupidity), at that price I should go get a replacement!

Mine still works great, since it’s only doing small things it doesn’t need the newest and fastest processor or anything. I think I saw the first gen models for $150 on the google store too, which might be a better option than eBay (if they are still available).

But will it support Photospheres? I like them but they’re so hard to share when I take them. I hate having to post a link on Facebook and asking people to view it separately in Google Photos.

“They’re simpler, more affordable, and last up to a week on a charge.”

Inbox! I love it. I’m guessing it only supports gmail accounts, which I assume is why its not even mentioned. But if you do only use gmail, I highly recommend it.

“Let’s ignore the obvious math flaw here (if you can regain that ‘missing’ 80% of capacity, that’s a 500% increase, not 800%)“

If it happened before I had seen it done elsewhere, then yes of course I would have been very upset by it. But if it happened now, since I’ve seen it done before and know that it doesn’t really mean they “like” what happened, I would be glad to see that people were acknowledging it. If people have more to say, great,

The sensor allows it to adjust the brightness based on the ambient light though. My first-gen Moto 360 can do basically the same stuff you described, but also when it’s fully lit-up and I’m interacting with it, it will be less or more bright based on the surrounding light, just like your phone does. No idea how much
