I’m still a little worried about platform. I played 1 and 2 on xbox 360, have they said anything about platform for this or for season 3? And if they won’t be on last gen systems, will I be able to somehow transfer my save to the PC or Android versions of future seasons? (I don’t have an Xbox One, so hopefully they

One of the benefits of credit cards is the part where you said you won’t see your money for a while. With a credit card, you never lose the money. Even if it takes them a while to “review your claim”, in the meantime when you pay your credit card bill you don’t have to pay for the bogus charge. You’re never actually

Another good reason can be peace of mind. I had a Bank of America credit card, and was fed up with their crap. My credit is otherwise good, and my credit utilization is generally low even without that card. So I decided it was worth closing the account, just so I had the peace of mind from knowing I have no account at

The Droid Turbo is part of the Droid brand, a line if phones Motorola makes specifically for Verizon. So I don’t think it will come to any other carriers, sorry 😞

I have a Moto X 2014. My next phone will definitely be a new version of the Moto X or a new Nexus. I wouldn’t touch a Samsung phone with a 39.5 foot pole.

There’s a saying I remember learning back in school while I was learning some statistics: Statistics never lie, statisticians do.

Very true. I saw a diagram on the internet once showing the parts of a bee and a wasp. The bee was labeled with things like “abdomen” and “wings”. All the parts of the wasp were labeled with words like hatred, anger, wrath, etc.

That’s a separate issue. There was a while where it was a popular issue to discuss how your charger was “leeching” power even when you weren’t using it. It was about the cord still being plugged into the wall during the day, while your phone isn’t even plugged into the other end.

At least spiders are stuck on the ground. Bees and wasps can fly, and are equipped with tiny daggers that they will stab you with. They are what’s truly terrifying.

Same with worrying about leaving a phone charger plugged in when you’re not using it. I never understood why that became such a hot topic for a while, that uses so little power that its irrelevant even compared to your lights, let alone the things really using power like your water heater.

One of the main reasons I encourage switching banks is that the fees usually indicate a larger attitude of “screw the customer, give us all your money”. On the other hand, the bank I have now which has no fees for anything, that’s part of a larger customer focused attitude. They have the best customer support of not

I just googled these Ramsey Baby Steps. Yeah I’m all set on 1-3, I don’t have any credit card debt, though I do technically have other debt but I am not going to ever do more than just keep paying the minimum payments (my car loan is at 0%, and my student loans are essentially free because of a program in my state

I guess that makes sense. But if they’re a fiduciary, they’re supposed to act in my best interest, right? And isn’t in my best interest to be able to invest in funds that don’t have stupid high fees?

Then I reiterate my previous point: find a new bank. There are banks that don’t charge for that. I know changing banks can be a hassle, but do it once now and you’ll save a ton of hassle later by not having to worry about fees

That tax piece is irrelevant, both a 401(k) and an IRA can be Roth (post tax) or traditional (pretax). The only real difference is you have much more control over an IRA. If you want to use pretax dollars, my advice is to still do it in the order of 401(k) match, then IRA, then more in 401(k) after IRA is maxed, but

I agree with that last quote: 401(k) up to the match, then max a Roth IRA, then you can go back to the 401(k).

Its also good to look at the ratio of stocks/bonds just because it might not he what you expect. My 401(k) is in a 2050 target date fund, which implies that I’m 30 now. The rule of thumb for stocks I’ve heard two different ways, 120-age or 110-age. So I should have 80%-90% stocks, depending on which version you use,

Some these tips are quite good. My tip though, is if you found this article useful, then just change banks. There’s no reason to have to worry about following tips to avoid fees, when you can easily just have them not even exist. There are plenty of options for banks and credit unions where they refund all ATM fees,

Why is everyone in the comments citing hacking and piracy as reasons this obviously isn’t true? Android isn’t inherently week and hackable any more than anything else. And Nintendo’s consoles get hacked all the time, without Android. Switching to Android would not increase the “hacking” of their consoles at all.
