At least spiders are stuck on the ground. Bees and wasps can fly, and are equipped with tiny daggers that they will stab you with. They are what’s truly terrifying.

Same with worrying about leaving a phone charger plugged in when you’re not using it. I never understood why that became such a hot topic for a while, that uses so little power that its irrelevant even compared to your lights, let alone the things really using power like your water heater.

If the answer really is R, then I call BS on this puzzle. That’s not a puzzzle, it’s not something you can ever figure out if you think about it long enough. That’s just “do you drive a manual, and are cars on your mind right now?”

Well there’s no need for a fork specificially to support the mouse, stock android actually does support keyboards and mice just fine. Really the only thing it needs is to be able to actually have multiple windows on screen at once.

Usually WiFi is only dangerous if it’s public WiFi. If its your home network, and its secured with WPA2, it should be fine, but it definitely doesn’t hurt to be careful.

I’m not denying that they’re great, they definitely are. Two of my roommates have them, because they have big fancy desktops for games, but they’re writers and want to be able to do that away from their desk. Chromebooks are cheap and of course can handle basic word processing. They love them.

One of the main reasons I encourage switching banks is that the fees usually indicate a larger attitude of “screw the customer, give us all your money”. On the other hand, the bank I have now which has no fees for anything, that’s part of a larger customer focused attitude. They have the best customer support of not

I just googled these Ramsey Baby Steps. Yeah I’m all set on 1-3, I don’t have any credit card debt, though I do technically have other debt but I am not going to ever do more than just keep paying the minimum payments (my car loan is at 0%, and my student loans are essentially free because of a program in my state

I guess that makes sense. But if they’re a fiduciary, they’re supposed to act in my best interest, right? And isn’t in my best interest to be able to invest in funds that don’t have stupid high fees?

It’s true that SD cards are becoming rare, but most Android devices are less than $100 for the size upgrade. My 2014 Moto X was an extra $50, and I’m pretty sure the Nexus 6 was also $50. The Nexus 9 is $80, which makes me angry. I don’t know what the extra cost is on Samsung phones, though I personally am not a fan

Then I reiterate my previous point: find a new bank. There are banks that don’t charge for that. I know changing banks can be a hassle, but do it once now and you’ll save a ton of hassle later by not having to worry about fees

That tax piece is irrelevant, both a 401(k) and an IRA can be Roth (post tax) or traditional (pretax). The only real difference is you have much more control over an IRA. If you want to use pretax dollars, my advice is to still do it in the order of 401(k) match, then IRA, then more in 401(k) after IRA is maxed, but

This is why I don’t understand the existence of Chrome OS. Instead they should develop a way to use multiple windows in Android, and then just put Android on Chromebooks. Call them AndroidBooks or something.

I agree with that last quote: 401(k) up to the match, then max a Roth IRA, then you can go back to the 401(k).

I find it interesting that bloatware is becoming an issue on iOS, especially because of how expensive it is to get more space ($100 for a size increase? That’s insane)

Its also good to look at the ratio of stocks/bonds just because it might not he what you expect. My 401(k) is in a 2050 target date fund, which implies that I’m 30 now. The rule of thumb for stocks I’ve heard two different ways, 120-age or 110-age. So I should have 80%-90% stocks, depending on which version you use,

Some these tips are quite good. My tip though, is if you found this article useful, then just change banks. There’s no reason to have to worry about following tips to avoid fees, when you can easily just have them not even exist. There are plenty of options for banks and credit unions where they refund all ATM fees,

I totally understand wanting something tangible. Personally I prefer the convenience of having a bunch of digital stuff, but I definitely get why people prefer a physical object. Especially because of the weird way with a lot of digital stuff, you don’t even really “own” the file, you just have the right to listen to

Exactly. If your a car enthusiast, you’re more than welcome to buy a 50’s Aston Martin, and you can say you love it. But don’t try to tell me that it’s objectively better than my 2012 Corolla.

I use Google Play All Access, and I love it. Their library is pretty extensive, so for the small monthly fee you basically have access to anything that you can think of. And for any indie music, or anything a little out of the ordinary like video game music (which personally I love) it’s easy to just find it elsewhere
