I happened to enjoy Tron: Legacy 3D, but the CG-de-aged Jeff Bridges was painful to look at. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was thoroughly impressive in 2001. Nine years later, I expect improvement.

@mosesmalone: I love it too. It's pretty art deco.
This "experiment" can be summed up in two words: anecdotal evidence.
@ShanaLD: I admit, I liked Lord of War.
It looks like something that would premiere on Cartoon Network (and not CN in its heyday)... or worse... the SyFy channel.
"Well, first and foremost it was a Nicolas Cage movie." - Which is a shame, because Ron Perlman > Nic Cage.
@hdgotham: Yeah, the first season was interrupted by the Winter Olympics. Why not wait until after the Olympics to air the first season, I'll never understand.
@gamefan2000: heart
I love the background music just as much as the review itself.
I'm surprised by some of the comments. "If it were scientifically accurate, it'd be boring." Really? You want to stop and think about all the completely badass, seemingly larger than life science out there and get back to us?
@ProudGeek: Earth's core starts glitching. People die. Humans reboot core.
"I suppose if you wanted to go ultra green, you could go ultra badass: a straight razor with no water."
@Eriamjh: Or hurricanes/cyclones/typhoons.
@Lite: an adventurer is me!: The article states that it's a poster of "all top land-speed record holders."
@MrFluffyThing: The Model T never set a land speed record, and has virtually no racing heritage of any kind.
I for one approve of the list in its entirety.
They did a great job modernizing it. It's gorgeous.
"friendly Canadian opt-out grope"
@Cats: Heart.
