SpeakToIt easily beats siri, Facetime is easily accomplished with numerous apps like Skype, and we already have tTorrent which works very well.

What innovation?

I love Google and Microsoft and they're both more popular than apple. Popularity has nothing to do with Apple being a crappy company.

With OnLive you don't even have to pay regularly for most of the good games, buy once, play wherever you like. Only the PlayPack has a subscription price.

Ticketmaster... Deadmau5... I know there's a joke in here somewhere.

Exception? What's the last innovative thing they did?

I've never used Google TV, does it have USB ports? I wonder if you could use a wired xbox controller, those work great with OnLive either on PC or it's console.

How on earth is it cheaper? All of the games are below retail price, most of them a lot below, and you don't have to buy a console.

I'll stick with Google Currents. I can't believe how awesome is. I'm hooked.

nVidia and Intel both have deals with OnLive, they are make quite a bit of cash from them.

I like the idea of holding my games in my hands too, but I'm willing to give up that small thing for getting so much else in return like great prices and now being able to play those games on the go.

If you're paying full price you're not a very smart shopper.

How can you play a console game anywhere you want? The closest you have to that now is OnLive. Consoles are great but I love being able to play Assassin's Creed and Deus Ex while I'm sitting on a train from my phone.

Actually maybe it would help. If enough of these cloud based services become popular the caps would have to go.

There was never a monthly fee. It was suggested before the service launched a year and a half ago, but it never happened. I've been a member since day one and never paid a dime for the service.

Actually it's very little money. Consider that I have 17 games with OnLive now, most of them high end AAA games, plus their microconsole for my TV. I have paid a total of about $115. Half of those games were free, others were very cheap. I bought Deus Ex HR Augmented Edition for 90 cents.

It doesn't look so bad to me, but then I stick with TweetDeck so I'll almost never see it anyway.

It works well enough with win 7 and my tests with 8 have shown it to be leaps and bounds beyond 7 in speed and battery usage.

Metro would suck on desktops / laptops if they were going to use it on them .

It works pretty good for windows 7 tablets, why not 8?
