Ok, the not-romantic thing was that I think she was married when she met him...

I'm not going to be a Galliano apologist, however, I am going to miss his couture something special! :(

This is interesting in relation to a teacher meeting I had yesterday about some middle school students. There was a particular boy who skipped a grade because he is very smart, yet he has a pattern of acting out and quitting something when he doesn't succeed at it right away. So I think the 'innate' intellectual

I guarantee that I am the most beautiful person you will ever see (this is what my mom tells me, doesn't that make it true?). That clearly means that no human man will ever satisfy me in a relationship. OK Adonis, anyone?

No way! I can totally see them faking out the girls who DID make it, but did they REALLY tell the losers that they were in? That is awful, if they did.

Ah yes, everything was better in the 1950s, when we all pretended problems didn't exist.

I think MoGlo was funny, but this post does present Macmillan's article are serious when it's actually satire.

Okay, so can we talk about the fact that this is a song and video that would be right at home in 2002, apart from the techno thumping and Brit's non-2002 body?

Okay, I know this is only tangentially relevant, BUT on the lingerie part of the sight, you can see the panties from the, eh, behind, and it is very clear that they are not at all photoshopped pictures! Not that these models look fat or unsightly by any means, but it's nice to see natural bodies in advertising! [www.bh

Not only do I wonder what it was like to be coached by the President, but I wonder how the opposing team felt! And all the parents! Can you really root against the President, even if it is your kid?

Second grade, when my mom got pregnant with my sister. I remember a talk, and then a very informative but appropriate book, which explained that 'when mommies and daddies love each other very much they cuddle each other naked in bed." Sometimes it made me have funny feelings.

Actually, the ones that Jezebel features are about women eating weird crap. I just looked on the episode guide, and there are plenty of other strange addictions: wearing a fur suit, collecting rocks, cleaning, thumb-sucking, cats, shoes, sleeping with hair-drier, etc.

-23!

Okay, so the point of the new layout was to feature big glossy pictures. So why are these really small and you can't make them bigger?

Exactly! Maybe real bookshops will flourish now!

It totally totally irks me that men can say so upfrontly that they like only long hair on women. How fucking shallow can you be? It is a HUGE turn off if a guy says something like that. I have a pixie cut, and I really appreciate it when men compliment me on it. It just shows a fair amount of open-mindedness.

I am gearing myself up for an 'I love you' to my current bf, but I'm so afraid of the awkward silence that may follow that I might leave it for another few months. Ugh. Stressful. The absence of the "I love you"s in our relationship just seems so obvious to me.

I teach middle and high school English, and, boy, do I have to vent sometimes, even about the idiocy of particular kids. However, I also realise that they are just kids, and do not deserve harsh judgement on their personalities at a young age. As a teacher, it's part of my responsibility to help them be better people

@MissySmelliot: Same here. I haven't seen an authentic Super Bowl (e.g. commercials) in years. I'm not sure how that makes me feel.
