There was a shade similar to this called Monster Green back in the 60's & 70"s. It looked great on custom vehicles of that period, not to sure that I like it on newer cars though.

I wonder if it is similar to the Tuxedo Black found on Mercury Milans? My wife has one of that color and it's really striking when cleaned up and sitting in the sun.

It's probably a decent truck, but in my eyes it's abysmally ugly.

Yes, they have definitely taken a beating. I hate facebook for trying to share info and for the reason you stated in particular. The site does have a FB page too though, hoping that it will help advertise the site and attract new members.
