I too, love these, and cannot properly explain why. In high school, my Dad had a ‘90 Ranger, and one friend had a ‘90 Bronco II and another friend had an (I think?) ‘89 (?) Blazer 2 door, like the lead picture. (This was around ‘96...) I loved my Dad’s Ranger. Standard cab, short bed, XLT, 4 speed stick with OD, 2

I meant to ask this yesterday, but got sidetracked, and I’m about to comb through the 295 replies below. So if someone’s asked this already, forgive me.

“Our friends over at Road & Track confirmed the situation with Fiat Chrysler: there are ‘no plans at this time’ to offer a manual Giulia here.”

This is great! Thank you!

There was an article in one of Brookland’s collections of the VW that mentioned a series of studies from Cornell Research from around ‘69 that had Beetles crashing into full-size Fords. I’ve been trying to find any evidence of these tests for ages. Definitely on my short-list of things to try and find in the Library

What the fuck’s wrong with that? ;)

As long as one of the states Jason’s not allowed to create is in the state of sobriety, I’m perfectly okay with this. :)

Jason,

I say we each salute this noble, humble van, that having felt the caress of spinny brushes and gentle touch of clean water, sacrificed its life in order to bring the joy that comes with clean, flowy water to all the other cars in its vicinity. RIP Toyota Sienna. Thank you for your efforts to make every car clean. May

I have nothing new to add, only posting in the hope that someone close to him finds comfort in this. When I was 5, my parents made the choice to give me a subscription to a car magazine, probably in the hope it would shut me up, give me something to read beyond the books I was assigned in kindergarten. This was around

Is there any precedent for charging these people with reckless endangerment? Maybe Mr. “Hey I have this tiny badge” can testify? I mean he was there on the scene, saw the parents scrambling to get their children out of the way. Surely he would provide testimony...

I understand gathering all the writers together from all over the country is a huge undertaking... so when the stars align you have to take quick action, but is there the potential to make a Jalopnik Calendar, so we can look months ahead and plan accordingly?

I sincerely hope there is a DLC down the line with a proper Beetle. I wonder though about the inclusion of the Manx... like, “here’s your flat-4, ya filthy animals...”

Thank you!

There is something to be said here about the difference between these rich idiots carelessly driving their cars, and killing a guy that was just trying to make a little extra money driving his. I lack the ability to say this in an eloquent way. I sincerely hope a severe sentence is delivered to both racers, and the

With such high-end cars like these, does Ferrari make the parts necessary to rebuild something like this, like BMW’s program where they rebuilt the 2002 with new parts?

IMO, James seems more laid back when he’s by himself. Granted that may be because he’s not having to defend his position or talk over Richard and Jeremy, but I may be reading too far into it.

(I don’t have a Mk II Cortina or anything. I just prefer it to the Mk I, but the rest of the world seems to feel the opposite, and I wonder what I don’t “get” about it.)

We know that their personas on Top Gear aren’t necessarily “them” in real life. With The Grand Tour, they have the rare chance to start over, to introduce us to a different James, Richard, and Jeremy. Was there any thought to changing how they’re perceived on camera to combat annoying public perceptions of the three?

I’m no superfan, but I don’t think Ghost Rider is really even a ghost either, right? He’s some agent of the devil, something something... cool motorcycle with flames... something something... skull. Someone more knowledgeable than I can (please!) correct me, but maybe it’s that the agent of the devil character “rides”
