I know that agencies, like other businesses, just want to make money, but can't they have a separate division for younger girls so that their work is limited to things like Seventeen, Teen Vogue and other age-appropriate jobs?

Dear Religious Right Wing Bigots:

The problem is that the men in these situations aren't married and in many cultures, "children" are expected to live at home until they do so (unless they get some sort of job offer far away or are studying abroad). Heck, I really wanted to move out on my own when I was 25, but my parents really influenced me to stay

Not a fan of Edie Falco's dress (clothes shouldn't be similar to one's skin colour).

A good start, bug kits menus are crap to begin with. Even in "nicer" places, you pretty much see pizza, burgers, chicken fingers, etc. What we really SHOULD be seeing are smaller portions of things you find in the adult menu that are more kid-friendly. Grilled chicken or salmon, for example. I've really only seen

It's lavender, almost the same shade as the dress my flowergirl wore when I got married last year (the bridesmaids wore violet).

I am absolutely loving the green dress on the right! Actually, I love the whole look, and I'm not a hat girl at all.

There's a community for everything...

Which Quebecois accent? Rural?

But it's cultural though. Where I live, upglide/uptalk is more common with white girls/women under 40-45 while baby talk/baby voices are more common with Asian women. It's all about who and what they watch on TV and online.

Now playing

A friend of a friend is from a small Ontario town near Ottawa. Her accent's very different from mine (Toronto) as well as my husband's (Ottawa - my husband and I sound pretty much the same) - her "r's" are a lot harder. For example, "car" sounds more like "kerr" than "cahr."

Like a lot of posters, I never really go the EBO either. I mean, if I wanted to bake, I was allowed to make almost-real (i.e. from mixes) cakes and cookies under my mom's supervision. They were much bigger, anyway! :)

Now if Home Depot can put a spa in there...

I'm surprised that they allowed make-up, period. I thought most schools with uniforms (especially in the UK) do not. We had a no make-up rule as well, though a lot of us still wore clear glosses and Lipsmackers (if Lipsmackers count at all).

Am I being too picky if I say that I would have preferred that there was at least one more woman?

Is he an immigrant? Cuz that's pretty typical immigrant generation thinking...regardless of ethnicity. You know, very My Big Fat Greek Wedding...

It's not white versus "non-white," but older groups versus newer "not-so-integrated" with "general accepted traditions" group. If a WASP Canadian marries a "pure lagine" Quebecois and lives in, say, London, Ontario, then the French side would be "ethnic." The reverse would be true in Quebec. Me being first

I thought the KKK was from Indiana.

When I was in high school, my mom and two of her close friends (all Catholic school educated Hong Kong ladies) were having lunch and discussing their kids and who their kids should be dating. One woman said that she wanted her daughters to bring home Chinese boys and Chinese boys only and wouldn't approve of the girls

Wow....I know that she struggled with weight later in life, and now I know how it happened. I know that people back then ate more fatty foods, but I would have thought that actresses ate lighter.
