Then maybe it's the attitude of the people in the military themselves. Perhaps some sort of seminar would help (though it would be at the expenses of the taxpayers). In some countries, the military actually participates in Pride events!

A residence hall at my alma mater (Queen's University, Kingston) got in trouble for doing something like that some 20 years ago. It was guys-only at the time. A couple of years later, they went co-ed. Not sure if that was a form of punishment or not.

I can understand the issue with having four nannies for two kids, but if you include the use of day care services, many people "outsource" their childcare.

For the rebellious who don't want the traditional 12 course Chinese dinner and the five dress changes for the bride (Chinese dress for the tea ceremony, white, western gown for the legal ceremony, (another) Chinese dress part way in the reception and two other outfits). I think that Paint-created logo (well, it looks like it was created on Paint...by a 7 year old) was probably a publicity stunt. I really doubt GAP was REALLY going to use it in the first place...

I feel that those who exclusively cater to certain sizes better understand those sizes (though this is coming from a short girl's POV - petite designers I've spoken with will agree with me) than designers who're making off shoot lines. Besides, it'll guarantee non-standard models work.…

@ShaynaLK: Yeah, that's fine, but he's not a plus size designer. THe line is a plus size off shoot of "straight" size line. I was talking about actual plus size designers who exclusively design for 14+. If there are designers who exclusively make clothing for women 5'4" and below, then there must be plus-exclusive…

If only we hear more about plus size fashion designers (i.e. not chain/mall stuff like Torrid and Lane Bryant). I know that they exist out there, so maybe Jezebel can profile some? Great way for them to get some PR, no?

@serenada: This is EXACTLY why I prefer Asian or Chinese if someone wants to refer to my ethnicity. I'm sorry, but as I noted above, "of colo(u)r" sounds marginalizing, while Asian or Chinese does not.
