The legit restoration videos like TysyTube Restoration are fantastic though.

It’s just like the rug cleaning videos, which are clearly faked dirty rugs being cleaned.

You do realize almost all of these videos are faked, right? He buys two identical kits, takes one and trashes it/cakes it in mud, then cleans it before swapping it out for the second, disassembled toy that he reassembles. There’s literally no restoration happening here.

I saw my first one of these back in college and it was a “Wow” moment.
Seeing that price is also a “Wow” moment, but somebody might pay it, these things are kind of awesome.

How “strong” tungsten is, is completely irrelevant. I’m sure 45 pounds of anything dropped from that height onto that roof would’ve done the same thing.

I’ve never had a negative one yet. The responsiveness and gobs of torque in an EV are addicting. At the same time, I love a performance internal combustion motor too. It’s good to have both available in the market.

It may be stop motion, but I got the same impression when I saw the sand worm - it looked like crappy CGI for some reason. The rest looked (mostly) fine to me.

Points off for the slowed-down “Banana Boat Song” at the beginning of the trailer, but that decision was probably made by people who have nothing to do with the actual film.

The stop motion sand worms replaced by CGi trying to be stop motion looks bad in a non-whimsical way. Also that brief plane crashing image looked really bad. Like that has to be a bit on the movie right, that can’t be an actual plane crash in this movie. It looks like it was generated on a PS2

Last year we bought a ‘22 Chevy Bolt EV, and liked it so much that earlier this year we replaced it with a ‘23 Chevy Bolt EUV. To me, the biggest mistake Chevy is making is cancelling the Bolt and pushing all customers up to the Blazer EV (which starts at $49K).

I’ve visited Florida Disney a few times. My last visit (November ‘22) was the first time I felt like I was being ripped off.
I mean...I always KNEW I was being ripped off, it just never felt like it before.

What about a fedora? The Untouchables was really good.
