Um, a comma is not supposed to be there, but better wording is your friend.

London thanks. I think I'd be batting for the mazda on this one. Looks almost stationary in the road when hit on the flank from the rear by a car which was unable to stop before reaching the partial obstruction in the road due to excessive speed or lack of attention.

"It doesn't matter if the Lambo was speeding or not..."

Nope, the mazda (whether it was right or wrong to pull out) was ahead of the lambo on the road when the lambo drove into it. Lambo had to stop for the obstruction in the roadway and if he was only doing 30 then he would have had no difficulty to do that.

Actually, a comma wouldn't be grammatically correct. So it's just an issue with word choice. (Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!)

This is ridiculous. Another Belle Knox story on the Gawker family of websites?

Well, there's your problem.

[tries to think of a joke]

If you have to doggedly point out that it's satire, something has failed.

Suey Park knows full well this was satire, but nothing beats the sweet, sweet nectar of hashtag hype. If it has to be done on the backs of Native Americans, so be it. If it has to be done in chummy-dom with Michelle Malkin, so be it. If it has to be done to remove the focus from Daniel Snyder, so be it.

She should have been condescended to: she's an idiot.

The offensive line was taken out of context, where it spread like wildfire. In the actual show, its use as satire is crystal clear. When tweeted from a corporate account without the context of Dan Snyder's racist-ass organization it is completely devoid of its context and thus just an immature racist joke.

Colbert was using racism to prove a point about how offensive the ACTUAL organization from Dan Snyder is. That's satire. I think his joke DID pay off, despite also drawing some backlash. It's the twitter comment that flopped.

It's sad that you lack the critical awareness to acknowledge the power of satire in challenging bigotry. You really need to do some reading.

She was treated exactly as her obtuse self deserved. Enough with the pearl clutching and uninformed whinery.

No. Colbert was making a satirical joke, making fun of the ridiculous Redskins charity that's condescending and insulting. Tosh told a woman heckler in his audience that it would be funny if she got raped.

So am I the only person who thinks this is clearly an astroturfed controversy funded by conservatives? It really seems inauthentic and insincere. I just get help but think this is all astroturfing by marketing companies and Super PACs.

The fucking owner of a team called the goddamn WASHINGTON REDSKINS started a charity FOR NATIVE AMERICANS that uses the word 'REDSKIN' in the name of the charity and that is shitballing ridiculous.

fake outrage is still fake.
