Oregonian who owned a TDI - you can pump your own diesel, even before this law.

I mean, I’d argue that the J1772 was the standard (excluding Nissan’s weird Chademo and Tesla’s proprietary chargers) but then, for whatever reason, manufacturer’s folded and adopted Tesla’s charger.

I had a near silent electric motorcycle. I think the drivers who don’t see motorcycles aren’t going to see them regardless of noise. Oblivious drivers don’t snap to when a loud noise occurs.

They lost me when they killed Maude Flanders.

You’ve got a chicken/egg problem. The fifth generation Explorer (shown here) came out in 2011 (and was first shown in 2010); this model of the Range Rover came out in 2012.

All looks great except still has the one problem I see with all CGi - way, way too much lip movement. Her lips are all over the place and moving away from her gums like crazy. I don’t know if mouths are exceptionally hard (quite probably) but all CGI has this problem of excessive mouth movement.

Did his agent/manager tell him how desperate this would look?

As you might have guessed, even people who say “if the ad is up, it is available” don’t always monitor their posts. Over the past year I’ve reached out to 4 or 5 separate sellers, only to have them say “oh, sorry, forgot to take this down.”

I used to work around a bunch of grad students and I think your views of Fireflies vs FEDRA are absolutely correct. The fireflies are interested in blowing things up and dismantling FEDRA but then? As with many anarchist/utopians (hence my reference to grad students), I’m not sure there is a step 2. Are FEDRA

Dammit woody, why?

I was going to say the same. The brothers work to cast differently abled actors in many of their movies and not as props but usually in speaking roles.

True, though he defamed a guy and got away with it. Maybe saying someone has a fake disability is an insult his chums in apartheid South Africa used to throw around, just like “pedoguy”

That is all true, but by dumping they aren’t held to account for the negative externalities they create. The energy, materials, personnel cost to produce the items... all for them to be destroyed. And, in turn, we as a society pay through more waste in the landfill. They pay to dump the stuff but nowhere near the

This should be illegal. Creating that much waste and probably having to pay close to nothing to dump it, thereby passing the true cost onto everyone else who has to deal with plastics in our food, medicine, water, etc. If you can’t accurately forecast the demand for these trinkets, then you should have to firesale

It has an amazing pace. Just great action setpiece after setpiece, each topping the prior. I love the first three Die Hards (including 2), but 3 hit me at the right time and I think the aesthetic and direction really make it a great action movie.

Thanks for posting these. They are really incredible.

Based on the original NY Times article, many (most) of the cars he finds with intentionally altered license plates are cop cars/city vehicles. So, there’s a reason “the system” is not addressing this.

According to isthereanydeal, the game was once $20 on humble, gog, and steam, so I don’t know about this “never on sale” claim.
