You’re right, what I was going for was the second part. I live somewhat in mountain lion country and they will come onto a person’s property and eat their pet dog/cat and my cousin was bow hunting and realized he was being stalked by one. On the other hand, if you make enough noise, bears will steer clear of you.
When you see videos like this it is really hard to think of Bears as scary (and, yes, most won’t hurt you).

Basically daily. But seriously, we were talking about Michael Bay’s fetishism of soldiers/military and he noted how ridiculous the super-ripped Bay soldiers are. His point was that buff military dudes are actually looked down upon because they have clearly not been in a combat zone.
