They screwed it up, 15k feet per minute.

When I was younger I always just pled guilty to moving violations and took my lumps with fines and insurance surcharges. Round about my 40th year, I got a speeding ticket after having not gotten any for almost 10 years. 55 in a 50. For the first time ever hired a lawyer and he got it changed to a non-moving violation

LW1: Change your locks. Because, just in case.

I bought my first set of component speakers for my 21st birthday. I still have them. I like classical music and I wanted real sound, not just noise from a boombox. I bought my first CD player a short time later.

No excessive reboots here after the patch, but very a sloooow boot up each morning. Like 6x the previous amount. From something like 8-10 seconds to just about a minute.

I own shares in an ETF (exchanged traded fund), DIA that tracks the Dow Industrial Average. It pays dividends every month.

Just looked at my checking account at WF. No extra payments or activity.

The point is, the formulation of “assault” can be used to ban everything. And my response is we’ve owned these types of weapons since the turn of the 20th century and only now are they being deemed a hazard. By people who want to ban all civilian gun ownership.

Every major western power’s army assaulted innumerable trenches in WWI using various and sundry bolt-action rifles.

The AR-15 has been for sale to civilians for 55 years. It is a “regular” rifle.

Casual assassination threats are still assassination threats. Eliminationist rhetoric is something we should all strive to avoid.

Tyrannies tend not to bunch up.

You’re taking a fairly accurate rifle and turning it into a very inaccurate bullet hose. Because the action of the bump stock ensures that you don’t have a steady hold on the rifle and makes aiming it difficult.
