If you want to release a full game on your own framework or a licensed engine, okay. If you’re making content for a game, that’s “fan content.” That needs to be free.

Otherwise you’re just an indie developer, and that’s different than a modder. The people that want paid for their work need to make their own games, not

Imagine how much better the world would be if apology pizza and protest dancing were a thing.

I wish everyone would protest through dance.

The more I learn about how fucking unjust our system is, the more I am shocked that there’s not MORE rioting in the streets.

And watch the Michael Jackson protester for the one thousandth time and fall in love all over again

All fans become instantly better when you lay in front of them naked after you’ve gotten out of the shower in the summer.

If you put something (mannequin, witch or a person) behind a 2 ways mirror and turn on the lights... It will show.

Always test mirrors if you're in a room with one. Put your fingernail against the glass. There should be a gap between your finger and its reflection. If there's no gap, you got a two-way mirror.

it’ll be funny when somebody makes a free mod to remove the pop-ups from the free version of his mod. ^_^

The biggest problem for me is if a mod ends up being broken for any reason there is absolutely nothing you can do beside contact the author and hope he fix it. You do get a 24 hour delay where you can get a refund but if the mod you bough gets conflict from another mod you install after 3 weeks you are just screwed.

There’s value in amateurism. Modders are free to work on something for as long and hard as they like. A professional developer has to be paid for his time. And there’s probably not enough money in mod-making even if this takes off to make it worth the effort for a lot of them.

Optimism is great. Sadly, we’re already seeing where this trend will lead us. It’s down the same dark, nasty road that In-App-Payments lead us in the mobile game market. It’s a road marked Greed. The creator of the Midas Magic mod (currently also the most expensive paid mod available) “updated” his free version of the

Being able to sell mods is something I’m not against. People have a right to change for content they’ve created. People also have a right to get angry and complain that their favourite mods now cost money.

People are finally starting to wake up and realize that the “organic” label is mostly a marketing scam based mostly on uninformed consumers. Literally everyone I know still thinks that organic food does not use pesticides/herbicides/fungicides.

My sanctimonious foodie friends who post their EVERY FUCKING MEAL on social media with the staged ‘candid’ photo of the can turned ‘just so’ to display the organic label #organic #healthy #betterthanyou #youcantaffordthis will be so horrified! I can’t wait! *wrings hands with glee*

Mods have been made for free for years, I am acting no more entitled then they are.

if i buy a game im not paying for mods.

no, it doesn’t. just because a mod is being sold doesn’t mean it’s good. this is the problem people had with Steam Greenlight and that same problem will happen here as well.
