Interesting! This goes very well with another article called How to Combat Diet and Exercise Self-Sabotage with Mindfulness which I printed and pinned to my bathroom wall. I think it's VERY important for people (especially fit people like my son - are you paying attention, Son?!) who think everyone's willpower is

Great find, thanks!

lol I had no idea the cat liked toys. It sure does limit what I can buy, now. Finding something strong, yet soft, AND affordable ... gonna take some research!

My dog (poodle) loves playing with toys so we have purchased many from the 2nd hand store and the $1 store. She looks like she's tearing them apart, but she's incredibly gentle. None of her toys even had a hole in them ... until one of our cats got ahold of them. He likes to walk around the house with plastic cups,

That's exactly what I was thinking. lol

Making a joke out of this type of thing just makes people feel bad about themselves for not knowing/understanding. I think it's great for people like Eric to post this stuff. You never know who you could be helping.

Great timing. I've been using a local news site for weather, but I absolutely hate having to see the local headlines (I tend to get depressed with all the bad crap going on lol - if it's that important, my husband or son will let me know!). Checked out your links and so far I'm really liking Weather Underground.

I never drank coffee until I married and then my husbands coffee (full of fattening goodness) grew on me so quickly I now drink more than he does. But I like my food & drinks HOT or COLD, not in-between. So for coffee & tea we use the 34 oz Thermoserv Foam Insulated Coffee Mugs (he leaves the lid off, I put it on).

Oh my, I don't recommend the banana peel method at all. Fruit flies. Gad, now I'm cringing because you've reminded me that fruit fly season is coming up! lol

Great idea ... but wow that is expensive! I'm gonna take a look around, see if I can find something cheaper that does this. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, I never thought to look!

Many, many, many years of owning cats has taught me one thing: you cannot completely cat-proof a home. :(

When a cat does something as specific as crapping on your pillow, he is most likely trying to tell YOU something. Either he is ill or he's unhappy about something. New cats or other pets? Any changes? Boredom? Not enough attention? Doesn't care for his food? The hard part is not allowing yourself to hate the

Try not to get dizzy watching this multiplayer dogfight, which is a little easier said than done.

Oh wow, I thought I was the only one that thought it was bad.

That's okay, you don't have to. I don't like the old ST stuff at all (except for NG). I LOVE the new movies so I watch them enough for the both of us. :D

I'm really glad I've not experienced this stuff personally.

we live in an age of incredibly sensitive teenagers

Ya, we get good filters and I replaced my regular vac with a strong wet/dry vac (we have many pets, too) which has already out lasted every regular vac we've tried (we don't have carpets). Things are much better now, except for the dust ON stuff. lol The problem with the filters with a higher MERV rating is that they

We moved to Arizona 20 years ago. I have never lived in such a dirty place! 30 seconds after I dust something, it's covered in dust again. I think I'm gonna need a bigger spray bottle!

Well, *I* never thought of that scene before, but I'm sure I will now ....
