Vermonter here. They had to drive past 4 signs, a payment kiosk, a gate and a boat yard to do this.

Looks like the driver of that Compass needs a better sense of
I, like many of you out there I am sure, once thought to myself, “Hey, I’ve seen the chase scene from Bullitt about…
See you in court, Leonia. You can’t fix what your state broke in its poor traffic planning. And I chuckle about the emergency vehicles situation. I work at New York’s largest hospital, which has its Emergency Room loading area on a residential street. We have been trying to make that street restricted to city and…
Agreed 100% - this is not a collection, it’s a junkyard and he is just letting these cars rust into the dirt. Whether or not that’s his “right” is a whole different discussion.
If the rules were changed after this guy acquired his “collection”, I’d feel bad for him. But the rug hasn’t been pulled out from under him. This wasn’t allowed the entire time. Even then, this is a junkyard, not a maintained collection... hell, this isn’t a “when I find time...” collection.
I feel like Jalopnik has been pushing really hard to get us to feel sorry for this guy, but it’s just not working. He’s clearly a hoarder, the land is a de-facto junk yard, he’s not preserving these vehicles in any meaningful way, and I have no issue with local governments stepping in here.
Way to make this not only political, but decided to generalize all NASCAR fans. I’ve been a NASCAR fan since I was around 8 years old. I didn’t vote for Trump and believe Moore is a piece of a shit. I also don’t yell “fuck yeah” after a wreck, and I’ve been to Daytona plenty of times in my life.
This guy knows almost nothing about the F1.
You had me until you said ‘...owe it to people...’
Good luck with that. Might as well have been written by Mickey Mouse, because that ordinance is unenforceable. You can write as many laws as you like; they have to stand up in court.
But there’s a green arrow right there telling you it’s a good deal. Has a green arrow ever led you astray before?
One man’s “Enthusiast” is another man’s “Hoarder”.
I’m sorry David, but I believe our gentleman friend, regardless of his cheery disposition, falls into “Hoarder” territory.
If they were running, driven, exhibited, or maintained....maybe I’d change my mind...but nope...we’re in straight hoarder-land here.
So here’s the conundrum: Ferrari need to sell cars and make a profit. Apparently the people who actually buy these things prefer the automatic by a huge margin. A large enough margin that Ferrari can’t even justify the development costs associated with a manual alternative.
Honestly I’m guessing he stealthed it. That’s usually what they do, get in and hook up as fast as possible then go, because people can do all sorts of shit to stop a repo. When I was in lowell it wasn’t uncommon to see skid-marks out of people’s driveways as their FWD cars were yanked out while in park. Most of the…
