Do you have any data to support that concern? 5.7L Hemi warranty claims are, to the best of my knowledge, among the lowest in its category.

The 928 had the build quality of the same-era 911 (piss-poor), with about 2.5 times the complexity. I had one for about 6 months, and that was enough: engine oil leaks, transaxle leaks, coolant leaks, A/C evaporator leaks, climate control panel failure...what a nightmare.
Came here to post this, beat to the punch.
I philosophically agree with the idea of accessible public transportation, but this doesn’t address the need to ensure vehicle capability standards. I don’t have figures at my fingertips, but years in automotive repair franchising tells me that people drive highly dangerous cars even when public transportation is…
You’re correct that there is no statutory basis for “refusing to release” a vehicle, and this statement has been used to scare customers. But, as a former franchise repair facility(ies) owner, I can’t even count the number of times that people brought in cars with less than one wheel’s worth of brakes (in to the…
The show is blah...but that car is an affront to the gods. There aren’t enough memes in this spiral arm of the galaxy to properly convey my disgust at that...that thing.
Serious question: was this article written to support the obvious pun in the title?
Nothing new under the Sun; Monroe (if I remember correctly) offered position-based bypassing years ago, but I think they were sued by the patent-holder and were ultimately forced to withdraw them.
80 MPH is reasonable...for a shopping cart. Seriously...”reasonable” is relative and, just coming back from the Nevada Open Road Challenge, 80 is - to me - almost punitive. Table-top smooth roads, straight for twenty miles, can support open speeds with modern cars.
I had a red 2000.5 (mid-year introduction) R/T. The brakes were weak, but it was almost trouble-free (evaporator temp sensor and the driver door lock servo) until the point that sold it with 170K miles. It was relatively decent to drive and I saw 24 MPG on the freeway when driven at a “qualifying” pace.
The entire presumption that this post is based on, which is (paraphrasing) “you should have bought a Buell because underdog”, is flawed to the core. Potential buyers don’t owe Buell, or anyone else, anything - exactly the opposite.
This is the worst-kept ‘secret’ in Detroit. Can’t wait...
Factory prototype? Maybe...
There’s only one thing that these things are good for: tubbing and tubing:
Can’t tell how fast he’s going - I’m got going to play Jalopnik CSI - but that’s pretty much how I would maneuver if I was trying to spin car. I just don’t get it...
Voting NP because the stupid wheels and entertainment system can be sold of offset the otherwise CP price.
10-cylinder Hemi engine
The entire hood would have to scrapped...
Industry insider’s response: maybe.
I’m working on the list right now...
