C3s weren't the greatest cars when new, are a dime a dozen and thus I don't care if someone carves one up. But...

But the speed seems secondary to actually having a good time on a backroad. It's not what I expected from a Corvette. Maybe that's why I like it.

Whether you like NASCAR or not, these announcements are troubling. If NASCAR can't show advertising value, then what series can?

I would save it, especially since it has the highly-desirable Optima Red Top Battery mod.

Well...one of these tests finally produces the correct result:

It's based on a highly implausible myth, so what difference does it make?

Step 1: Unfold paperclip into the shape of the letter "U"
Step 2: Insert paperclip between pins 6 and 14 on the SAE 1962 ("OBD II") connector
Step 3: Observe various system failures
Step 4: Scream at the top of your lungs "I just hacked my car! I'm a genius!"
Step 5: Wait for the accolades to come rolling in and

This strategy is a "cheat" to help it win "spec-sheet" races, without having to go to the expense of making something that will deliver the advertised performance in the same operating regimes as the competition.

I briefly owned a 328 GTB, and agree with the hassle/reward ratio observations in you're making. The 328 was much less capable than the 360, and that made it even worse. I got out of it after six months, and have never looked back.

I'm not surprised. I had a '12 Challenger SRT-8 and, even with a few suspension tweeks, was a handful in the twisties. The Hellcat weighs about 160 kg more than '12, so it's to be expected and is why I'm offing my Viper for one. I am, though, going to get an HC Charger for my wife...

This reminds me of the time that I reinforced the strut towers on my mom's Civic with angle stock - that I cut out of a bed frame (yes, a sleepy-night-night bed). It sucked then and it sucks now - epic CP.

Why all the hate? There are hundreds of cars out there that I don't like, and none of them make me angry. I love LXs...they're big, fast and fun. I've had five of them, not including the Charger HC I have on order, and all of them have been safe, reliable and a hoot to drive. Not everyone's cup of tea, but

I've put myself through school wrenching, owned a couple of franchises, and I have to say that flipping is best left to garages because of the very issues raised in this article. And this is article also highlights why you don't want to buy a "flip-mobile" - most of the amateur "flippers" are taking a minimalist

Tell them I hate them...

The APBA holds at least two races in Michigan every year (Pontiac and the Detroit River Gold Cup). We watch the Gold Cup from our boat, which gets us the best view in the house. AT least one Unlimited flips every race; one year there were four!

My 83 Mustang pro-street car, during a two-day period that everything had broken. I did it twice, and then took taxis until my drivers were fixed. If only I had a photo...

Actually Drive The Damn Thing

It probably also related to the involvement of Renault in one of the LH platform's predecessors, the Dodge Monaco and Eagle Premier.

This:

Unibodies aren't designed to do that?!
