I'm just working off of faded memory but wasn't he one of those politicians who rode on on the panic over gays marrying? His claim to fame always involved homophobia, even if he did other stupid things.

It doesn't make him gay but I think that does make him eligible to identify within the queer spectrum. He's now experiencing the kind of discrimination we people who become involved in non-traditional relationships do. If I think its fair for Zach Wahls to identify as part of the queer community because the double…
Last I saw, Pizza Hut (a sister company to Taco Bell) had a decent procedure for making "fresh" dough from a mix. The only dough that was frozen was the "hand tossed" (ironically) dough. Everything else is mixed in the morning, portioned into pans and left to take a slowish rise to be used through the day.
Yeah, his recent specials were comedic town halls, so a panel show isn't a surprise for him.
That's what I'm hoping for. I'll be thrilled if a Totally Biased alum like Jeanne Brito joins.
RuPaul is honestly a little confusing because of the name. As far as I know, the etiquette still is if you're talking about the supermodel of the universe, it's she. If you're talking about the man out of drag, it's he. But with RuPaul it gets confusing because the names are the same. It's simpler if you're talking…
Anyone who thinks those Real Housewives shows deliver drama haven't read the right Wikipedia article discussion pages.
Let's remember that the stated reason for making a version of Huck Finn that removes the n-word is that teachers were deciding not to teach that book because they didn't want to have a discussion of the language.
The ones I've seen were programed to call for a worker to come by and okay every little thing (either demanding to check that the manually entered code is legitimate or the bag check not working right). The stores in my neighborhood have gotten rid of the self-checkouts. I used to think it was just me, since I figured…
Thing is, there are few fast food corporations that actually do pay a lot of store staff. That's usually for franchisees. The money for the CEO's pay mostly comes from all the stuff they sell to the franchisees (food, training materials and equipment) and franchise fees.
Yeah. That's not going to work in this country.
Ugh nevermind.
These events aren't fun parties, even if that's the image desired. They're work for the reporters and for the "stars" that appear. If she was being "too snarky" that's no different than when someone at the TCA asks a stupid question. The performers' job is to find a decent answer to that wouldn't be embarrassing to…
Wait, what? The upsetting thing isn't that there's one less recapper, its that a network is trying to attach positive coverage to media access. It's a stupid show, yes, but that shouldn't exempt it from critical coverage.
But did the producers pick him as a potential companion for Addams or as a guy whose demeaning fetishizing should be put on TV so it can be shown being rejected? IIRC he got rejected pretty damn quickly and that had a role.
I was a huge addict of The Sims and The Sims 2 but there was something about The Sims 3 that didn't leave me wanting to create character after character. I played it for a while but it didn't compare to the obsession the first two games inspired. In those games, I could do the same activities again and again with…
I loved the idea of Everybody Hates Chris, I loved the pilot but as the show went on I couldn't take how awful Chris' mother was, especially since Chris' dad was portrayed as being willing to make all kinds of sacrifices.
In hindsight, pretentious bullshit and embarrassing YouTube videos still would have done a lot more to demonstrate the potential of the Kinect. Plus those crude videos would have probably been better buzz for the Kinect's potential than the current use of the Kinect has been.
That's where I am. When I realized the only Xbox Live features I was using was Netflix and Hulu, I bought a Roku 3. I like the Roku but the Xbox has a better interface.
They should let all these apps that make great use of the Kinect keep going, leave the features disabled if you don't have a Kinect and let one group of XB1 users tell the others how much better things work for them, then.
