Well, if you've ever used create-a-player in just about any game, this would give you the opportunity to create yourself. I do that already in just about every sports game I buy, so being able to just scan my face instead of screwing around with horrible sliders sounds great to me.

It'd be interesting to see the same thing, but rendering with real likeness, rather than it generating a stylised version.

Under no circumstance should you actually pay money for bad video games. It is unfortunate that we occasionally buy bad games by accident, or ignorance, but you should NEVER intentionally purchase bad games.

The promise of the cloud isn't so much dedicated servers as it is automatic scalability and calculation, without having to rely on a set number of allocated server hosting. The game increases as the playerbase increases and can constantly get better because everything is being connected through this massive balloon…

The big difference is scalability. With services like Windows Azure or Amazon EC3, companies are basically able to rent as little or as much computing power as they need to service their needs based on demand. They don't have to stand up 3000 servers and all the infrastructre that goes along with that to meet launch…
