Not really. If I decide to import the PS4, it'll cost me around R$1800 (taxes included). The xOne is around R$2100. Maybe Sony decided to ditch the subsidy and sell the console in Brazil with profit from the start. The problem is, I don't think it will sell at all.

No mistake. The information comes from the PS General Manager in Brazil. MS isn't desperate, since the price they're charging is roughly the same for importing a Xbox One from the USA. Sony is the one who lost it's mind and it's charging almost twice as it's competition.

As is the case with many markets in South America - Brazil being another major culprit - the price of gaming in Argentina is a little silly.
