Suikoden 1 has the potential to be such a tragic game as well, if you pretend the second game doesn’t retcon the deaths of some characters.

Or one specific American President

The RX-0 seems to be really popular in Japan, not so much here though, I’ve seen it on a lot of “Worst MS” Lists. I think it’s kinda neat in its Unicorn form and the transformation is always dramatic but it’s not one of my favorites.

Cool! I love Alternate History and I’m glad that it’s not just a creepy fascist fantasy.

People keep buying their garbage cash grabs en masse so I don’t see them caring.

Great Article, I love Scott Lynch’s work but man... it’s so crapsack... everything has to be so damn gritty in this post George R.R. Martin world. I keep hoping fantasy literature will eventually get over it but it hasn’t happened yet.

Poor e-sports...

I really love The Wild Storm, it’s great to see Warren Ellis do a new take on the whole Wildstorm mythos as he always did it best. Plus he makes the Authority damn likeable, something I wouldn’t have thought possible.

Get Good! This is clearly the artistic intent of the game. At least that’s what people who talk about the Souls-like games always say so why shouldn’t it apply to every game.

I was surprised how hard I laughed at the Mr. Mime sequence, I didn’t expect it to be quite as funny as it was.

Atlus is very good at making me buy Persona games twice... it’s irritating but they’re always worth it...

So in essence what went wrong with Anthem was... Anthem?

I’m still kinda mad at Hyper Light Drifter for being a Souls-like that replaced content with difficulty instead of the more narrative driven game I thought I was getting.

David Hayter would have been wasted on MGS5 anyway. I mean I’m sad he didn’t get the part but that story was such a mess...

That’s what Battletech/Mechwarrior is for.

Unless you wanted, you know, a game with Bioware style characters and story instead of Destiny with more dialogue.

I’m down with Bulbasaur and Ivysaur but Venusaur... kinda breaks the adorable aesthetic.

Where are all the Final Fantasy Characters though, haven’t seen anyone but the moogle so far...

Masato Kato is really more the writer of Chrono Cross...

It does have a really terrible ability system... GFs and the Draw System... yeah... not great...
