RIP Bioware...I wouldn’t be so bothered by this if I wasn’t sure that Anthem represents the true death of the “Bioware RPG”, because if Anthem fails EA will probably close the studio and if it succeeds they’ll just be making Anthem or Anthem-like games until the end of time.

Welp I’ve completely lost interest in Anthem now, and my future enjoyment of Bioware games is fucked as well because either Anthem is a failure and Bioware gets closed or Anthem is a success and Bioware makes Anthem over and over again until the end of time.

Not a fan for multiple reasons, but I’m sorry for his families loss.

Now an entire new system worth of players can be disappointed? Only a bit though, the final game just wasn’t the game I kickstarted.

Because the last time they made an adaptation it was fantastically faithful to the source material right? I mean the Lorax was totally in keeping with the spirit of the original work right?

EA could stop with predatory micro-transactions and forcing their best game studio to make a Destiny clone that’s nothing like anything they’ve made before or remotely like something fans of said studio, like myself, are remotely interested in with an engine they still aren’t comfortable building games with... but…
