LOL Yeah, I could see that. I think parents should be a little (A LITTLE) embarrassing with their kids. The embarrassing stuff is usually how they show they care (which you realize later in life.)

Ditto on the cool mom, because she was the one you could say anything in front of (even cussing - gasp!). And she was a cool mom. For everyone else.
She's my age. My age, and she left behind a loving husband and a small child.
Me, too!
Yeah, it used to be a lot more interesting with pop documentaries about history and human sexuality, then there was a gradual shift to 'women´s programming' like home improvement shows that got more and more gimmicky over time, like Trading Spaces.
Yeah! I liked her. She´s got some sass, and she seems like a sexy lady. ... Naturally, the dude seems to have a conservative family. That, I think, is going to be the biggest problem rather than the deadline.
Fo' sho'. I was the opposite. I wanted to get out of the US, met a person online and chatted for 3 months with plans to visit, then loved both this guy and my new country so much I didn't want to leave.
That makes sense. I was wondering how it actually works ... magazines always tell you to track your ovulation and all the mechanics of the method, but they don't exactly spell out what that MEANS for you and your partner. Thanks!
Preach on, sister.
Yeah, for sure. I sound a bit grumpy and bitter when I speak about it, I realize now, but my boyfriend and I were really broken up by the loss of our furbaby. I still think about him (the cat) from time to time and imagine that he´s healthy and happy in the Great Outdoors, but I know he´s probably gone.
I´m so glad everything worked out well for your precious dog. My brother was nowhere near as kind.
After university, I was moving out of my apartment and needed a place to keep my two cats until I could secure a place to stay in my new chosen town. Being so close to Christmas, I hadn´t had a chance to really look for…
I feel you. I had a similar experience in which I had gotten out of my only LTR at the time, was in my late 20s, and went hog wild making up for lost time during a year-long teaching engagement in Asia.
Clementine Griddlebone Palombella Lightbody
I named my cat Schroedinger, after the scientist, until we found out that she was actually a girl. Then I named her Branda Klóheiður instead (Stripey Bright-Claw in Icelandic. I have no idea why everyone thought that fit better, but they did.)
Not funny if you´re a human, either!
Grilla (the Christmas Hag Lady) comes to get you if you´ve been bad, but if you don´t get new clothes on Christmas, the Christmas Cat can smell you and will come eat you.
Yeah, I have those moments sometimes, like, Oops, am I being some ridiculous throwback cliche?
So were you able to start your own business? What´s that like?
Ditto, all the way. Former journalist here, and I can´t understand what they were thinking with this layout OTHER than 'Nerps on the front page, huh huh huh'...
That´s a great photo, but there´s no reason for it to be so large, particularly when the article it´s attached to is a dinky double-column. The headline isn´t…
I love the FUCK out of this. That is all.
I think you should say something. It can feel so good to communicate your feelings, to put it out there in the world rather than keeping it to yourself, especially since this is something that you´ve been carrying around.
