The entire Japanese rail system is overhead lines. I think pretty much all of Europe’s system is too. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel here.

Overhead lines would be much better than third rail for that kind of implementation. That said at that point you would just wire up the entire line.

An Edge, F150, F350, Focus, Fusion, Explorer and Transit in the past 3 years, I’ve got a pretty good feeling for their lineup. Definitely not for me.

It’s kind of distressing to see Ford doing this bad, but also totally expected. With few exceptions most of their line up is weird.
