I never have anything better to do.

It’s pointless for me to comment here. None of Snyder’s movies have ever risen above mediocre for me, and everything I’ve seen of the DC Cinematic Universe has disappointed me. So no, a well-cut trailer means nothing to me. It wasn’t going to. Yet I’m typing these words regardless. It’s a mystery.

Don’t blame me. I voted against this crap. Of course it was futile, it’s not like we had actual input beyond choosing from a small pool of things they’d already workshopped.

Exactly. It’s a gimmick.

Me too. Honestly, I do. I’ve just become very jaded over the years. It’s a delight to be proven wrong.

I don’t see the value in having old characters back just to have old characters back. Perhaps trotting the cast out for an encore is fun, but I need more than that. Yes, Minsc and Boo are adorable, but unless they’re going to do something new and interesting, I can already have them do their old schtick whenever I

This cross-linking is getting confusing. I know Deadspin, as a sports site, often writes about large, violent, hairy mammals, but I think there’s been a mixup.

I wouldn’t say ‘lower’. Heck, I don’t even need anything to tie into the main narrative necessarily. But even the examples you provided of good Interquels- SotE and The Pre-Sequel- they filled in gaps. Not even necessarily storyline gaps, but even gaps in character arcs. How did Luke learn how to build a lightsaber?

I don’t hate interquels on sight. I just measure every addition to an already solid franchise with this simple question, paraphrasing Yahtzee:

Just because it has precedent in an entirely separate wing of the IP doesn’t make it a good idea.

Look, when you’ve got what’s widely regarded as one of, if not the best ever series of games in history, you’ll pardon me for wanting to make sure they don’t fuck it up. With any franchise, you have to watch out for when

Unified... Story... What? I have no idea how what you’re saying relates to what I said.

That makes it an interquel. And even if it isn’t, it’s utterly functionally identical, and you even agree with my central point.

The only thing dumber than a prequel is an interquel. At least a prequel explains how stuff started, even if you know how it’s going to end. An interquel can have no lasting impact whatsoever.

That’s what made me a loyal customer right up until they became the kings of unnecessary innovation with the Wii, DS, 3DS and Wii U.

Having a Bristol Fighter is one of my dreams. Keeping it running for any length of time would be one of my nightmares.

Mario’s Cousin, Itt.

Fuck the sun. I’m staying inside, where my ridiculous skin won’t burn and peel instantly.

I was only just wondering when they’d make something new. I hope it’s good; If it’s of the same quality as Skullgirls, it probably will be.

You’d be surprised at what you’ll do on ‘shrooms.
