Wow, I must admit, those Mercs are some serious bits of kit! That's quite some convoy too....

Sad story. I'm quite a fan of these British truck makes, and it's great when I see the rare sight of an ERF, Foden or Seddon Atkinson on the road. Even though the late ones were just badge engineered, they've got a look of good, honest power about them. I mean, who would mess with a military Seddon or Foden?
Chav, pikey, gypo, council trash..... There's quite a few.
Rover Streetwise.
Nice! Is that the US Army equivalent of an Aggressor Squadron?
Hips are cool. British military registered Mi-8/17 anyone?
The scoop has only ever been on the bonnet of the S and JCW versions of the hatch and Clubman. The Paceman and Countryman have always had it in the bumper......
Or, slightly less war-like, the shortened Iveco Daily access platform as used by the Royal Air Force for helicopter servicing. Quite a few ended up as just chassis cabs in Afghanistan as run about vehicles for the armourers.
The QE2 and the SS Canberra were used as troop ships in the Falklands War in 1982. The QE2 stayed just outside the war zone as it was regarded too high a value target but the Canberra got down and dirty in the Islands themselves.

DMC-12s might have been built in Ireland until the whole thing went up in coke dust, but the new DeLoreans are build in Texas and at least one guy knows exactly how to turn them into the perfect limousine of the future.
Fantastic. I'm just about to leave the Royal Air Force after 12 years and my one regret is never getting to do Red Flag.
We did get the Daewoo version of the mk2 (badged as a Nexia) in the 90's but by then the Astra was in its 3rd or 4th gen and the Nexia was just a retro reminder of the 80's that ended up straight in the scrap yards.
The Astra and Kadett were not Daewoo built, they were European in manufacture and were very successful, especially in the UK. As for the Daewoo Nexia/Le Mans then yeah, from what I heard they were pieces of shit.
Makes sense. They've used that badging before on the police favourite Mondeo ST TDCi.
Couple of cool little Brits here, the Austin Champ and the Mini Moke
All the time. They do the same with television adverts. It's basically Opel calling the shots and 'shopping on Vauxhall and also probably Holden badges for their respective markets.
They have an 'Air Wing' rather than an 'Air Force' but yeah, my bad!
The only Royal Air Forces that count, RAF, RAAF, RNZAF, RCAF. All in service to Queen Elizabeth the Second.
Top work by my fellow RAF lads as usual.
