True, but GTE's will always be hot 80's Astras, Novas and Mantas to me!

A GTE? Vauxhall called, they want their badge back...

Tell me about it, I live here! But unfortunately 'being a steal' won't make the car popular in the UK. It's LHD only for a start and you'll always have the niggling thought that pretty much the same car is available in the US for the equivalent of 30 grand!

Really? 61 grand is a steal?

Ah, I see. Well I wouldn't see the S1 and ST as rivals in the showroom (again, marketed to different demographics, here in the UK at least) but yeah, I'm sure the Ford would give the Audi a good run for its money out on the road. I'd like to compare the power to weight of them both...

It is Fiesta sized (based on the Polo/Fabia/Ibiza platform) but marketed as a class above in terms of quality. I wouldn't expect an A1 buyer to have even considered a Fiesta...

This guy lives in my old home town and according to some of my friends, he is a complete douche bag of a self-employed builder. I've heard stories of him driving this car up to 60mph through built up areas and past schools.

Not yet....

Not exactly. The 75/ZT if ordered in 4 or 6 cylinder format, was only FWD. The Mustang powered 75 V8/ZT260 was only RWD and very rare...

My mistake, James' Fiesta was a '92. Unable to edit my original post though......

I thought that. The closest was the Golf which was an '89/'90 registered model. The Nova was a facelifted '90's model and I don't believe the mk3 Fiesta was ever around in the '80's, well especially not in XR2i form and James' car was a '91. I understand why the cars were chosen as they were the boy racer cars of

Brilliant. Just waiting for my ticket ballot application to come up trumps!

This is Talbot, originally British, then French. Has been owned by Rootes, Chrysler Europe and currently Peugeot but unused these days. Saw lots of a badge engineering action.

That's not a DB6, it's a Virage Volante.

Looks like a 50's Austin K9 with a radio truck body. Very cool but I'd doubt the capability of the running gear to be any good for expeditions!
They look pretty good restored mind.....

At first glance, I honestly though that front end was from the just as unforgettable MG 6........

You can't mention 90's Ford grilles without this monstrosity

Who would do that? Even a Corsa doesn't deserve that treatment!

Dad?

I was going to say "but put a front number plate on the 3 and it looks better". But after finding this, no. No it doesn't.
