The London buses pressed into service during The Great War as troop transports. Some were modified as mobile messenger pigeon coops.

And what on earth is a 'roadway'? You strange Americans!

A 1 year old Escort, rusting already! Not the best advert for hitting the beach in your car!

That's no Mondeo, it's a Focus saloon. Still pretty good bouyancy though!

I agree with this. Absolutely hated them when they were first released but I'm starting to drool now when ever I see a facelift Turbo S in either black or white with those DRL's on. Same with the Cayenne to be honest.

Oh, I completely agree. But as you say, as all cars have got incrementally bigger over the years, unless you see a Mk1 Fiesta parked next to a current gen model, you don't really realise. I mean, B-segment cars are still proportionally smaller than C-segment, C than D, etc..... but as they have slowly gotten larger

How is this not a proper wagon? It's a Focus ST Estate, and a proper traditional estate car design at that. I see nothing semi-SUV/MPV about this. For that genre, take a look at the Focus based C-Max.

I love these things. There's a guy local to me that has a black one he has imported. Bear in mind I live in the UK, I have no idea how he can afford to run the thing but good on him for trying! I regularly see it down the local harbour hauling the odd boat around.......

'Fast hatch' just sounds limp wristed and budget, maybe denoting something like an Astra SRi rather than an Astra VXR or similar. The term hot hatch has been around since the Mk1 Golf GTi and it really is in everyday parlance. So best of luck changing people's minds!

Well, here in the UK at least, the plate gets allocated to the car when it is first registered by the main dealer from new. The plate then stays with it for life unless you decide to change it for a vanity plate at any time. You prove it's registered through the V5 registration document which are the car's official

And I've never heard any fellow Brits use the term 'highway'. That's a dual carriageway he's on. Not sure if it's really his 'friends' video. It's been doing the rounds on Facebook for about a week now.

PACCAR owned DAF trucks (the LF and XF) are built at the Leyland DAF plant and marketed in the US as Peterbuilts I believe......

I always hankered after a Chevette back in the day. Mainly because of the HSR. Love these things.

It's called 'Dogging'. And it's not necessarily just for men. In fact it's normally a load of blokes stood around a car in an isolated car park watching a man and woman have sex. Google it, it'll be a revelation! Better still, try and find the Channel 4 documentary 'Dogging Tales'......... No need, just found it for

I'm assuming you've seen this site then?

I've spent almost 12 years in the Royal Air Force so have had chance to play with various Defenders, but mainly 110 and 90 GS's rather than these WMIK's or the armoured Snatches. Absolutely love them and one day I will buy myself a surplus 110 Wolf spec soft top with cage! I have seen US Forces in the UK using

Good call on the Marbella and the blue one you posted looks amazing. Want.

Yes. The only SUV that does it for me.
