I’m surprised and disappointed by the amount of negative fan reaction, especially in comparison to TFA, which I also enjoyed but was a much more flawed film.

“He’s like Reese, only he still kills people” is exactly how I explained Frank to the spouse.
Given the state of Emma in the movies, I hope it’s just an allusion to the Cuckoos.
I’ve been reading The Punisher since the ‘80s and had the same issue as Caroline. It’s not that he killed them — it’s that he killed them gleefully after they were no longer threats. They weren’t hardened killers like in DD s2, or even later in the same episode, and they weren’t killed in the heat of the fight.
that both BuzzFeed and Vice would miss their revenue targets this year

Out of all the hills I’ve seen people on the Internet die on, “Superman shouldn’t be in the Justice League movie” has to be one of the weirdest, so good job.
Lots of stories do lots of a things.
You really want to split hairs like that? I think it’s fair to say that the story revolves around Superman and that he’s certainly more present than he has been in anything we’ve seen from the Justice League.
lol, I mean, c’mon. He’s Superman. This simply isn’t enough.
I love J’onn, and I understand his in-universe role with the Justice League, but from a real world cultural standpoint, he’s several levels down from Superman.
I get it, but that he’s not front-and-center in the posters, advertising, trailers, etc., is insane to me.
Can I just say, regardless of any feelings about the previous DC movies or the quality of Justice League — I just don’t understand how you put out a movie called “Justice League” and that it doesn’t have Superman. How do you mess that up?
...at what point is it fair to think someone is stupid because they don’t agree with my beliefs? I mean, I’m willing to accept some nuance around tax policy or the DH, but a wholesale rejection of science is a bit much.
This is my new favorite thing.
seems a bit slow on the plot side and not too much has happened.
It’s almost like players being trapped against their will without alternatives flies in the face of “they’re paid with an education, no one’s forcing them to do anything” rhetoric.
Maybe they are big fans of the Aurora Teagarden mystery series on Hallmark?
His album is worth checking out too (It’s on Spotify) — “Spicy Chicken Stir Fry” is an amazing bit.
The Shining, even if King hates it.
