LeBron being a moody, passive-aggressive dude with family and father-figure issues is all true, it doesn’t make Pat Riley any less of an (often delightful!) asshole.

A person who profited tremendously off that employee, an employee, BTW, who worked on a below-market-value contract?

“You played your ass off for us, took us to two titles and four Finals, made us all an incredible amount of money AND you never took a max salary, AND THIS IS THE THANKS WE GET??”

I can’t remember who said it after Blatt was fired — I want to say it was either someone with the Heat or JVG — but they made the point that if LeBron is so hard to coach and is such a coach-killer, why do all 30 coaches want him on their teams?

Reached for comment, Stan Van Gundy said “bwhahahahahahaha.”

I had to laugh because Van Gundy criticized them for not getting into their offense right after the block — well, yeah Jeff, LeBron might need a second to catch his breath.

Yeah, that’s what probably amazes me the most — no one lives up to their hype, in general, but he’s lived up to and exceeded it.

Namath maybe?

Why would losing be good for his brand?

I know with Verejao, the Cavs vote on whether or not to give him one.

So I guess that was edited out of the transcripts and all the stories about the game just to help prove the conspiracy?

He seems to have baited them into giving Harrison Barnes wide-open looks.

As a Cavs fan, that’s my biggest concern too. Regression to the mean is pretty inevitable.

Nah, we’ll just put it all on the Browns, like Boston did with the Red Sox despite NBA and NFL success.

what the hell are you thinking

And yet, I anticipate him donning a Wizards jersey this fall.

I hate to be that guy, but I kind of feel like Ty Lue isn’t getting enough credit for this, or for how they’re taking it at Curry when he’s on defense.

Nothing about Curry’s shoes?

Are any of them elite?

The refs can’t decide a winner unless the game is crazy close, and this was never that. Ref fixing in the NBA revolves around the over/under and the point spread. Mostly they’re just bad at a job human’s can’t ever really be good at in real time.
