He has better playoff and Finals numbers than Kobe basically across the board. Check out Kobe’s numbers against the Pistons in ‘04, for instance.

There was an even better pass where he put backspin on the ball, so it bounced *at a right angle* to Thompson, but Thompson either missed or got fouled, so I’m not sure if there’s video readily available.
Everything you said, plus the possibility that they’re trying to overcompensate because *they* are gay and they grew up in that self-loathing environment.
I’m saying that Cousins often plays/acts like he’s a smaller, skilled wing instead of taking full advantage of his size and skills.
If you have a better answer for a man his size and skills having a career .460 FG% and 210 3pa last season, I’m open to it.
Nah, I think you are definitely on the safe end of the Sixers Stockholm Syndrome Scale. You still seem to have a basic grasp on things like reality and probability.
I think if he went to Kansas, we’re talking about him almost exactly like people talked about Wiggins — does he want to take over, why didn’t the team do better, how’s his motor.
I think he has at least one (passing) and maybe two (rebounding) elite, world-class skills, top 10 skills for a guy at his position.
There’s a lot of wiggle room between “not an indentured servant” and “fair market value.”
But we also got the three-point line, the dunk contest and guys coming out early, so it wasn’t all bad!
As a basketball fan, I stand by it as a component of quality of life, even if it doesn’t apply to Simmons living situation.
You think? I think he’ll at least reach LeBron/Westbrook levels of semi-competence.
+1 Danny Ferry goes to Italy
Since the Lakers talked themselves into D’Angelo, I think they certainly could have talked themselves into Simmons, whether we are talking after a season out of LSU or right out of school.
...he’ll still be making 1/2 what the Kent Bazemores of the world will be making.
He’s what Boogie imagines himself to be ... w/o a jump shot.
I know, who wouldn’t rather watch the Sixers than the Cavs these last two years?
- The NBPA is primarily concerned with issues affecting superstars and the bulk of the membership - mid-level veterans. They’ve historically not given much of a crap about rookies.
I think Wiggins would help, but I don’t think it would be a difference maker, and I think it’s entirely possible he would struggle on defense, miss open 3s, and it would become a thing.
I think you are reading too much into my initial tone — I didn’t mean it as aggressively as you took it. You made a statement, I wanted to know the reasoning behind it — hell, maybe you had a good case!
