A buddy of mine inherited his grandmother's "only to church on Sundays" Granada when we were in high school (circa '91). Showroom condition with like 8k on the clock. It was the 4-door sedan, white on red. Quite possibly the most boring design I've ever seen. Its lines seemed to shrug and say "meh...car."

Yep. Married her, actually. We first met when her supervisor brought her around to meet everybody in the office. We were both seeing other people at the time. This July we will have been together 10 years, married 8. Shortly after we got married, I lost my job and she quit to go to law school. Now we both work in law

Ah, yes. Good ol' 3-ROTOR (the custom plate). I saw that car in person at a Delorean Car Show one year. I think the guy put it up for sale not too long ago. Shoulda bought it...

Somehow I knew the Delorean would end up at least in the top 3. I love a lot of things about the DMC-12, but its engine is not one of them. I hear they're doing wonderful things these days with Stage I, II, and III upgrades. I think there's even a turbocharger available. Dare to dream...

*shrug* My wife put 28,000 on her 2012 in the first year (she drives a lot for work) without a single problem. Not one.

Wow, the responses here are really impressive. I've never heard of half of these cars. It's one thing to know everything there is to know about big-name cars like the Veyron and Corvette and Gallardo, or to simply be a geek/fanboy of a certain marque, but there is a lot of trivia here about otherwise cool cars that

"Obungler" ...how droll.

A popular one in Kentucky is the "subway turnstile" approach to yellow lights. That is, when you're turning left and the light goes yellow, it's perfectly acceptable to get super close to the car in front of you so you can get through the light before it turns red. Like we used to do as kids trying to squeeze 2 people

Classy.

Apple didn't get to be Apple by being the good guys. The company's history is rife with decisions that were WAY better for Apple investors than for anybody else. That's how corporations work, and it is cartoonishly naïve to think Apple would behave otherwise.

Great band. Great record. Great live show.

Yeah, but aft, toward the Firefly drive. I think you can just see it in the pic, to the right of the topmost dome over the dining area.

I don't think it had anything to do with the content of the show. There's a lot that goes in to licensing another IP for an official LEGO build. From what I've read on the CUUSOO site, it was the practicality of securing licensing through Fox (or whoever actually owns Firefly) that made an official set unfeasible.

What's really cracking me up about these comments is all the splitting of hairs regarding "creationists" and "young-earth creationists."
