Sorry, Patrick, I respectfully have to disagree. I buy them. 2 S4 savants, 2 A4 Avants (1 new each and 1 used each). All around bad asses, Renn wagons rock and I, for one WOULD definitely buy an RS6 Avant.

Said it before elsewhere in regards to the RS6 Avant, "bring it and I will buy it". Go on Audi I frikkin double dog dare you (I'll have mine in white thank you very much). I have had 13 Audis in the past 23 years and would be pleased to make this # 14.

Pretty trick ride. I always considered myself up on all things Audi having owned 13 (4000s quattro, 90s quattro, A4 TQMS, A4 TQMS Avant both new and used, S4, S4 Avant...) since 1990, both used and new. I realize now, that is not the case. Thanks for the story. Doubt I would have known if not for this write up...

Looking forward to a fit check in an A3 as a proxy on the later arriving S3. The smaller than an A4 concept in AWD (albeit Haldex style and not true quattro) is alluring. Will the execution of the concept be as attractive in reality? As always, a wait and see...
