God, this reminded me of this several years ago. People thinking they saw a missile launch off the coast of LA when in fact it was a jet coming over the horizon.

They had a version with thrust vectoring like on the SU’s back in 1995.

You can watch it on Hulu.

Ohio class SSGN with 154 Tomahawks.

Keep the updates coming.

Yep, an APU. I posted that picture the other day on the other topic on the SU-34

The CFM56-5C2 is also another engine the AirForce is looking at. I think there was 3 different engines they were looking at. CFM56-5C2 would have 31,200lbs of thrust were as the CFM56-3B-1 on the KC-135 (F108) only 22,000lbs. Out of all the 3 engine named. The CFM56-5C2 would be the most fuel efficient upgrade.

Time to go play some GTA5. LOL

APU

Well they just need to bulk up. :P

Acually 4 planes, two F-35’s and two F-18’s

What?! The F-22 is totally different plane than the F-35.

Clinton admitted he passed on trying to kill OBL.

When is the USS Ford going to start making it’s sea trials?

Just like the money they waste on rehab on worn out KC-135’s which are as old as the B-52’s. The 135’s need to be replaced. Can’t wait for the KC-46.

I used to work on C-5’s at Kelly before it closed.

You should listen to these up close on a take off roll. I see these at Tinker AFB all the time on test flights. Louder then anything I have heard, even a C-5 with TF39’s.

You make it sound as if all low bypass engines blow out lots of black smoke but not true. All modern day jet fighters run afterburning low bypass engines. F100 is the most common in the US military which is found in the F-15 and F-16 with later model F-16’s with the F110. They burn fairly smoke free. F118 which is in
