I LOVE Broadbent. He will make an awesome maester. I just hope they don’t kill him off too quickly.

What? No love for this?

And borderline bestiality.

I am tired of this “I have gay friends and relatives, I am not a bigot but my religion says it’s wrong.” Woman, fuck you, that makes you a bigot. You choose to follow a religion that denigrates the people you say you have no problem with.

Why not a horror movie about the making of the original movie? Actors permanently incapacitated or disfigured by makeup, starlets on uppers to facilitate the shooting schedule, and little people orgies shot like Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut?

I quite liked Elizabeth. Can 5 be about Elizabeth being pirate queen?

I honestly can’t remember if I’ve seen the 4th movie or not.

But maybe we finally get to find out how the Queen Alien got to become the Queen!

It’s such an odd and unexpected movie, definitely not everyone’s cup of tea. I loved the story, the setting, the cinematography and the cast (turns out dadbod Colin Farrell is really doing it for me), but I can see how many people might not like it. I wish more people had seen and talked about it.

Gosling, who I usually like, wasn’t very good in it and LLL was definitely the least interesting and least gripping out of all the nominations. They should have nominated Colin Farrell for The Lobster instead.

I can’t find anything “rewarding” about this. The La La Land people had a big moment taken away from them in front of a live audience and will surely be asked about this who knows how many times for the rest of their lives, and the Moonlight people never got their moment at all. How weird that you’re happy about this.

Moonlight: Best Picture,” spat Horowitz.

Moonlight: Best Picture,” spat Horowitz.

Marisa Tomei probably feels vindicated right now. This proves that if the wrong name is announced by mistake, they will correct it swiftly and everyone will look embarrassed.

I’m guessing (I don’t know the La La Land dudes) that the bald fellow who broke the news over the mic was the above-mentioned Jordan Horowitz?

I’ve never seen him before but I admire how he was serious as a heart attack about this. He wasn’t having any jokes, he was not putting up with any confusion, and he fucking

I really have to disagree with you on Hidden Figures. I liked the movie, I thought it was a story that needed to be told, but imo there’s no way it’s Oscar worthy. It’s definitely a serviceable movie, but it isn’t more than glorified tv-movie-of-the-week good.

I don’t get the hype behind Arrival, I watched it the other night and thought it was a perfectly serviceable sci-fi film whose final act takes a huge and flawed left turn that doesn’t do much for the story.

I have 100 percent interest in this.

That’s certainly the angle it seems to take.
