There was a definite feel of network lag as Buildings were crumbling in Vanilla Bad Company 2, however in Vietnam, there was no lag because destruction wasn't in there to the degree it was in Vanilla.

Considering it was picked up by Deep Silver, who are notorious for picking up IP's and rushing them out the door, I wouldn't be surprised if Volition even had a chance to try and change anything from SR3.

Likewise, sadly I've pretty much given up on the genre, because the genre has given up on me.

Maxis is owned by EA, Which means, EA IS Maxis now, there's a reason this shit didn't happen with THQ or the devs it published for, or hell even Activision, and somehow all of the devs EA own all have followed down the same path, I wonder if it's BECAUSE THEY ARE WHOLLY OWNED BY ELECTRONIC ARTS.

"Want bigger Cities? Wait for the "EXPANSION" pack" (ba dun tss)

You know, as soon as I saw what they were doing with Simcity, and saw that they JUST COULDN'T put it offline, my bullshit meter went way the hell off.

The thing is, it's the internet, more to the point, the "open" internet.

Not that I think you're expectations are wrong, but you have to realize that even something as simplistic as Super Meat Boy, took a ridiculous amount of work to make happen, and it's not easy work, the best indie games shine for a reason, because they took a lot of hard, dedicated hard work, it might seem simple, but

Well it depends on the market.

Not always, and I used animatronics really as a placeholder for puppets, guys in suits, and other real life applications over CGI. Ever seen Pan's Labyrinth? No matter how awesome CGI gets, it will never look as good as the Puppeteering in Pan's Labyrinth. The reason the Xenomorph was, and still is so scary in Aliens,

Considering that FUNimation's in-house actors are located in and around flower mound and Gearbox is in Plano (they aren't that far apart), it's a win-win for the voice actors looking for work.

This was pretty much my reaction.

It's not so much that computer animation doesn't have it's place, but that computer animation means you can cut corners like crazy, so the end product ends up being ridiculously rushed and almost always lackluster instead of awe inspiring like very FEW works are and more should be.

Pretty much like this. I still want it to happen dangit, lol

This is something that always blew my mind, these consoles do not contain all of the original hardware, so you're essentially paying for an emulator (an emulator that has a compatibility list no less) and people still flock to them.

I realize why they might go online only for Multiplayer, but the fact that they tie single player to online only, with no choice for offline (like steam) AND It's Sim freaking City, a game that should never have online only EVER pushed onto it is why I will never touch this game, even if it came to steam, because GOD

I wasn't arguing against that, I know that's exactly what he did, I've heard it from him a few times, lol But I was merely saying to the commenter above that I'd rather have that guy then anybody else BECAUSE he know's the ins and outs and won't miss a beat, I can't honestly see how that can ever be used in a negative

Compared to what? lol Lets face it American Hardcore Punk, chops wise, was absolutely nothing special, every band from that time were damn near terrible players, they could play fast, and new a few riffs, but that's not the point behind it at all, it was as much a movement as it was a musical genre. But there's a good

No, it's been around so long because they have subscription fees keeping them up. Just because a game is great doesn't mean it's going to always be big, and best is relative, but 6,7 and 9 would like a word with you about what qualifies as "best" in Final Fantasy.

Profit =/= Good, It's also an MMO, by design it's made to drain money. Are you done?
