My thoughts exactly. For me, getting excited about a new Final Fantasy game is like getting excited about a new Sonic the Hedgehog game. It's going to have to go far out of its way to prove its worth considering how tarnished the name is.
Good. Nomura does well with his own personal projects, such as Kingdom Hearts, however he is one of four people directly responsible for ruining the FF franchise. Leave him where he'll do the most good, on his own, original projects that aren't tied into the main FF franchise.

Right, I agree. To be honest, most people would act like Shinji if there were in his position. I love Eva, and it is easily in my personal top ten. I was just bringing up Rahxephon, because, the first time I watched it I thought, "This is just like Evangelion...but this Ayato, kid...I can get used to him!"
I love Evangelion, but I just thought I would recommend Rahxephon, as well. It's like the original Evangelion series, except you don't want to repeatedly punch the main character every time he is on the screen (and I am one of the few who actually like Shinji, lol).

Brutal Doom has it's own thing going on, and different mods do different things. One mod that I would definitely say is better then Brutal Doom is Samsara.
