For the TL:DR crowd, basically the amount of manufacturing,transportation & waste that making the batteries create. That car is more damaging then a hummer for the first few years of ownership to the environment. Not to mention at one point you will need to replace the battery.

i have the Z623's they work great for me. I used to have Model (???) THX certified logitech 5.1 speaker set but i broke the speaker controller and couldn't get a replacement. But the speakers themselves were amazing.
