Man, the University of Tokyo is really upping their robotics game. He looks almost human.

“Hillary Clinton (who is imperfect and corruptible but an competent and experienced center-left public servant)...”

Oh my.

I was trying to explain this to someone the other day... even if the prank seems innocent, unless you really know the person you’re pranking really really well, you could be causing them a lot of trouble.

You’re totally right... People who describe themselves as “pranksters” always seem to just be sadistic assholes who don’t want to admit that they’re sadistic assholes.

UGH. Pranks that are either physically or emotionally hurtful are NEVER FUNNY. What the fuck is wrong with these people.

If this had happened to me, it wouldn’t be posted in the comedy section, it would be under crime because I surely would have killed him when I saw him holding out the pepper.

At a certain point you just have to be like [jack‐o motion] and do you.

You are greatly missed around these parts, Lindy!

Y’know... I caucused for Bernie. I gave money to his campaign. I went to one of his rallies. And I agree with you 100%. I am appalled at his lack of response to how disgustingly some of his supporters are behaving, and I am extremely turned off at his current scorched-earth campaign strategy.

I’m going to do a jig when Polanski and Allen croak.

I didn’t mean to sound like I was knocking women’s colleges, just explaining why I was happy to have had my all-girls educational experience at the high school level. And, you know, some of us enjoy heavy drinking and breaking shit. :)

Hnnnng always with the stupid question!!! I’m one of four sisters and was in an almost all-female class in high school for a few years, and the number of times people have asked me how I could stand the drama...very well, thank you, because there was none?! I love my sisters to death, we are very affectionate with

Same but all girls high school and then sorority. Women do not naturally feel an extreme desire to compete with each other over everything. That’s bullshit pushed on us by patriarchy. When you’re told there’s only one spot at the top marked “female”, you’re going to start acting like it.

I honestly think it was secretly written by a man using some kind of algorithm that generates Jezebel-style phrases and sentences. This is a horrible piece.

My women’s college experience was competitive, but, like, about stuff that mattered, like jobs and grades and shit*.

yep. posted in another comment thread on this article bout my ride or die college roomies. in high school I was always the girl hanging out with all the dudes, proud that I wasn’t wrapped up in “girl drama.” and then I ended up at a women’s college and it was the BEST THING and these women are part of my heart, even

Same. I prefer having close individual friendships, probably because I’m an introvert and big groups stress me out. I’ve never understood those women who have 8+ bridesmaids at their weddings.

YESSSSSS to the women’s college thing! I can’t tell you how many people have said, “I could never go to a women’s college. I couldn’t deal with all that drama.” They’re shocked when I tell them it was the least competitive and dramatic place I’ve ever experienced.

Counterpoint: my male friends totally ditched me like yesterday’s garbage when I had kids.
